We order from here on a regular basis and the food is beautiful. The butter chicken and korma are my fave as I'm not a spivey food fan, but my partner had eaten the goat dish which was hotter and really enjoyed it. The portion sizes are also really generous both eat in and take out- we always have lunch... More

This is our family's favourite Indian restaurant, we eat here approximately every month, and are never disappointed. The butter chicken is fabulous, as is the Korma. The goat curry and the vindaloo are sensational too. The naan bread is the best we have ever eaten, anywhere, so light yet crisped perfectly from the oven. The service is also very friendly... More

I went on a Tuesday with a group of 7 people. The decor is nice and clean. For entrees we had Chicken cafreal, stuffed squid and chilli mussel. It was nicely spiced and very tender. For mains we ordered goan sausage pulao, goan fish curry, chicken vindalo and goat curry. The fish curry and sausage pulao was just divine. All... More

Our favourite little Indian whilst we stay in Fremantle. It's clean, well run, food's good and it's very reasonably priced. Not that many places you can say that about in Western Australia. Would love if they would alter their menu now and again but that's a minor issue.

Bengal's location means its probably a bit quieter than it would be if it were on the main street - but the food is absolutely excellent. Having just travelled around India, I'm a bit more wised up on what is 'proper' Indian cuisine, but Bengal fits the bill and still manages to cater to all the favourites (korma etc). Reasonably... Not sure whether it was the acoustics or what, but my wife and I could not hear ourselves talk. We ended up asking for our food to be placed in a doggy bag so we could get out. 2 other couples did the same thing. There was a large group of people at one end of the restaurant, but have... More

After years in the Old Firestation in the Fremantle CBD this excellent restaurant has moved to 95 Victoria Street on the road out of Fremantle which is a bit of an irritation for the 'walking' classes like myself. However, the venue may have changed, but the quality fo food and service has not. This restaurant is still very much worth... More

We went here as a family of four. The restaurant decor is pleasant and the staff are very polite and efficient. Water was served promptly upon sitting. Our booking was for 6:30pm and there were already some people in there, so word has gotten out I think. Unfortunately for us a group of ten came in later and were really... More
