We went to Whispers after dinner for a quiet drink before heading home. The venue is very small and all of the seating and tables were taken downstairs. We headed upstairs where there are a few more seating areas to have a look at their menu. Unfortunately the upstairs lounge didn't have a lot of atmosphere - we felt quite... More

Whispers Wine Bar has an extensive range of wines. And the staff are extremely knowledgeable about all the different wines - a definite plus those who like to find out more about the wines they are consuming or about to consume. The food is simple - platters and baguettes. Simply fresh and lovely assortments of olives, cheeses, meats. So nothing... More

Came here for an Islay scotch with a few friends. As we enjoyed a drink, I mentioned that I would love to have a piece of dark chocolate with it. The owner overheard me and promptly left, returning with a big bar of fine chocolate which he gave me at no charge. Great service, nice authentic and French workers. Great... More

This place feels great. It's a charming, cosy little wine bar with open air seating downstairs and a lounge area upstairs. The welcome was a little stilted, we saw the wine list on the bar and got down to digesting it - I think three words of welcome were exchanged all up. The list is solid with some interesting wines,... More

We love this place Fantastic and delicious tapas and platters. Great wine list with very knowledgeable staff to make the experience even better. There is nothing better than sitting at one of their outside tables watching the world go by with good food and wine

We landed arrived in Fremantle after travel from our small historic Central Victorian town, and were underwhelmed by the place as a whole....thank goodness we found this lovely bar! The service, wine list and platter food were wonderful. The rillettes and fondue were divine. The decor and atmosphere are warm, rustic but contemporary. The operators are friendly and helpful. A... We went here due to it's reviews but were a little disappointed. It is mainly a wine bar and the only food served are platters of cheese etc. Also it seemed closed most of the days we tried to visit. It lacked something, maybe it didn't really no what it was. A restaurant or wine bar!!
