In the heart of Essex Street in Fremantle, The Whisper Wine Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a romantic evening or a few glasses of finely chosen wines. We focus on Australian wines but offer a fine selection of French, South African, New Zelander and Italian wines. While you sip your wine, make sure you try some of our French tapas (charcuterie, cheeses, terrine, rillettes, freshly baked baguette...).We are by far the best place to end your evenings (closing at 12am on weekends).Opening days: Wednesday to Sunday

International wines and a nice spot to sit

My partner and I stopped by for a drink on our way to dinner. I enjoyed trying a South African sav blanc that I had not seen before. My partner and I both also enjoyed sitting outside on the street and watching the world go by. I was not blown away by the customer service we recorded, as we were... read more

Stumbled across this bar awhile ago and we went back again yesterday and the service Is still impeccable, we only had a couple of wines after we went to lunch else where. It's nice to get of the main track and sit in such a relaxed atmosphere. Will try lunch next time

Visited Whispers for a pre dinner drink and it has a great vibe. The wine selection is great - lots of different styles, wine regions - something for everyone. Flings a great character and makes you feel like you are in his house! Would definitely come back again and again!

Long week-end sunday afternoon stroll in beautiful Fremantle and we cam across this little hidden treasure in Essex street. We grabbed a table and the waiter was there instantly - and what a great service, happy, knowledgable and not stressing yet able to look after all guests and be proactive. The entire staff (Three of them on duty that day)... More
