Nothing spectacular with disappointing slow service and average food. Coffee was not too bad although I asked for an extra hot coffee and it came luke warm. A lot better restaurants in Fremantle that provide far better service.

Had breakfast here 3 times on a recent trip. Coffee was great, bacon and eggs yummy, and the best sausage rolls in Fremantle

Today we went into the Fremantle Bakehouse to escape the rain and as it was lunch time we decided to sample what was on the menu Very pleased that we did as the food was very good and the coffee hit the spot. We tried their pies and also Thai Pumpkin Soup and all were very good. Service was casual... More

Besides serving great coffee and beverages, their crosissants are simply amazing too. Large, flakey croissants that are crispy on the outside, the dusting of sugar was icing on the cake literally. The almond croissant is respledent of the unique flavor of almond - sweet and nutty. The custard croissant was oozing with the butter-taste of fresh, moist golden custard. It... More

What I loved: design, feel, extensive menu, especially for breakfast, great location and way food is displayed What I liked: The tea was lose, not bags, eggs benedict on the menu What could be improved: 1. table service..... we sat down and straight away ordered tea for two, and asked for some time to read the menu. We were approached... More

I remember this place a few years ago having good coffee and tasty treats to accompany - but this time none of us finished our food it was that terrible, and we all had different things. The coffee was adequate but not great. The service was... More

We were staying in Fremantle for 5 days whilst visiting Australia from England. We used the bakehouse every afternoon for a cup of tea and a sandwich. Friendly and attentive staff with a nice choice of snacks. Inexpensive.
