My husband and I had a light lunch of a good old Aussie favourite, a steak and mushroom pie which was packed with big pieces of beef and whole mushrooms, served with a delicious fresh salad on Sunday 15 September. The cost was $18 ($9 each). We also had a pot of tea for two at $6.40. The waitress was... More

I had lunch here recently after I struggled to find an open kitchen in Freemantle after about 2pm. Freemantle Bakehouse came to my rescue with an excellent toasted Turkish bread sandwich. It was a perfect combination of veggies and crisp toasted bread. Definitely recommended. Really good service too.

Stopped here for a coffee and cake break and were not disappointed.Massive slices of cakes(the carrot cake was fab)and everything else we had was good too.You could easily share a slice between two and still be full.We love Fremantle and this is another reason to visit.

Great place to get out of the rain (season dependant) and fuel up for lunch when exploring Fremantle. Bread is delicious, soup too. I had perfect poached eggs on bakery toast. Lots of sandwiches and cakes on offer. It is a busy bustling place with standard seating/tables and big windows to watch the world go by. So don't be in... More

This was our second visit to the bakehouse - lovely casual finer with the best gluten free food I have ever tasted - staff are easy going and cheerful - I'm sure our mixed bag of dairy free/ gluten free / dieters are a challenge for any restaurant but the bake house are well able to meet it! Highly recommend... More

A wet and cold day in Fremantle, with eldest daughter looking for a quick coffee and breakfast and happened upon the Fremantle Bakehouse. Excellent service from the moment we walked in. Ordered a long black and a fresh orange juice. Both arrived promptly. Both were very good. Eggs Benedict was really good with perfectly poached eggs, good ham and lots... More

Drop by for a coffee break. Cappuccino was average but the macaroon was good ! Did not have a chance to try the other stuff although the sandwiches looks yummy. The service was quite efficient. I like the relaxed atmosphere of the cafeteria.

Nothing spectacular with disappointing slow service and average food. Coffee was not too bad although I asked for an extra hot coffee and it came luke warm. A lot better restaurants in Fremantle that provide far better service.

Had breakfast here 3 times on a recent trip. Coffee was great, bacon and eggs yummy, and the best sausage rolls in Fremantle

Today we went into the Fremantle Bakehouse to escape the rain and as it was lunch time we decided to sample what was on the menu Very pleased that we did as the food was very good and the coffee hit the spot. We tried their pies and also Thai Pumpkin Soup and all were very good. Service was casual... More
