Been here before and know it is very popular - today was a dismal failure! We came as a group of eight - every person on the table received cold bacon. I had the eggs Benedict- poached eggs over cooked, spinach on the ciabatta had been there long enough to turn the bread to water and it was ALL cold.... More

Waited for a long time to finally receive a cold breakfast. Everything was cold !! The eggs were slimey. Took it back and got my money back, lift your game as you have been in trouble before for your bad eggs. Didn't want to risk it , who knows how long that food had been sitting there!

Dropped in last Saturday for coffee and breakfast. Ordered two coffees and was advised it would be a 15 minute wait. After 40 minutes I asked what was happening, only to receive a very rude reply from the coffee maker. Didn't bother ordering breakfast as I couldn't wait another hour for a second coffee.

Had not been here for a while so decided on a Sunday breakfast. Busy and just managed to find a spot for two. Food took a while but we were happy enjoying the view. We ordered the Middle Eastern breakfast which turned out to be the best breakfast we have had in a long while. Eggs were cooked perfectly. We... More

Had a great meal as a couple in the upstairs restaurant overlooking the swan river & watching the sunset. We were then told that the upstairs restaurant was closing as table service was outdated!!! Good job it's not in Europe then we thought it was great inc service, food, location.

Anniversary dinner could not have been better. Steak was aged rump that was as tender as you are ever likely to experience. The shiraz jus was so goid you could drink it. All served with perfec t chips and a nice garden salad. Topped off by a beautiful view of the river on a warm summers night.

Never had a bad meal here. Regular week day specials, some being drink/meal deal. Something for everyone. Service is usually prompt and staff helpful. The riverside setting is what makes it for us, and the relaxed atmosphere. Regular bands play live music and they usually cater for all ages. (My 76 year old f-in-law was toe tapping the last time... Have visited twice in last week as first experience so good. Both times had seafood which was fresh, plentiful, well cooked and good value. It wasn't the usual deep fried tasteless rubbish served on a huge bed of greasy chips which seems to be the norm in cottesloe eatery's. Service is quick and staff friendly. Great beers on tap and...
