Description: The hotel Oberland's restaurant is located in the centre of the village...
The hotel Oberland's restaurant is located in the centre of the village just an easy 5 minute walk from the train station. We are open daily from 11.30 am to the evening. Our menu has everything from soups, snacks and salads, pizzas, pasta, meat and fish dishes and of course traditional Swiss dishes of fondues and röstis. Our extensive desert menu has something for everyone from a small ice cream to our special chocolate cake. Relax in our garden with a cooling drink in summer or in our restaurant with a hot chocolate in winter. Free parking is available and a bus stop a few meters away.

A serendipity

We stopped in late one afternoon for pizza only to be told that pizza is only served in the evening. Upon revisiting the menu, we decided to do the cheese fondue. It was fabulous. And the dessert we shared (strudel with ice cream) was great, too. The lady who waited on us was very good. It was... read more

We ate here our first night. Cheese fondue was absolutely superb. We also tried the Rostis which was really tasty. So good we also decided to eat here our last night. A bit pricey for family of four but the well worth it.

A great place to hang around in Lauterbrunnen. Food is good and Service is OK. What really hurt is that one needs to pay 2 Fr for a glass of water.

Loved this restaurant! So much we went twice during our stay. Staff were great but the food was even better. Traditional Swiss food that we loved! Would definitely recommend!

We ate here two nights during our stay in Lauterbrunnen. The deck space was the highlight. Unbelievable views of the valley from our table. The food and beer was on par for what we expected. I had the rosti with cheese and bacon and drank a draft Weisse. It was rather expensive, as with everything in the area. With not... More

This is Switzerland, and it's expensive to eat out. So, you have to have that in mind when you dine at Hotel Oberland. The service is very good and the food (all of it that we had in a lunch visit and a dinner visit) is excellent. The soup we had for lunch was outstanding. I used the complimentary bread... More

The fondue was excellent, as was the salmon. They were also able to provide gluten-free pasta, which is what attracted us to this establishment. Great local beer, also!

We had supper at Hotel Oberland Restaurant during our stay in Lauterbrunnen and the meal was delicious. The service was great too and the restaurant has cozy warm atmosphere. We ended up having 3 course meal as we wanted to taste more dishes, it was absolutely superb.
