Not typical Portuguese fayre - meat with very nice sauces. Presentation excellent - more like fine dining. Restaurant visually pleasing - quirky décor Tip: Small establishment - Need to book. Closed Tuesdays

Nice place to say it small is slightly an understatement - but hey it didnt detract from the really nice food, bit slow but would recommend stone dishes and bacon with figs. House red wine cheap as chips and the dogs danglers on quality and taste ! Nice addition to this lovely town - keep it up

I have eaten here 3 times and always enjoyed the food. The menu is simple, but after miles of fish and calaplana menus, this is a nice change. Best for couples or up to 4 people, but really helpful staff and good quality food.

A very intimate restaurant (only 6 tables), but the food was excellent. There were 7 of us, so we filled half the restaurant, we didn't have a booking so were lucky they could accommodate us, although we did have to sit on separate tables. Most of us decided on the mixed meat on a hot stone, and were not disappointed.... More

What a hidden gem this place is! We ate here 3 years ago on a day out to Tavira from Fuzeta and had the meat fondue! Our most recent visit in August confirmed that this is one of the best places we have ever eaten! A glass of house white and red ordered, we tucked into the awesome starters! Smoked... More

We had walked past A Taska a few times on our way to the main area of restaurants in Tavira. From the outside it looked interesting and different from other restaurant options in the area. We decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. The food was top quality and well presented. If I had to criticise it... More

I really enjoyed 3 things: first the restaurant is really cozy with nice décor, secondly it is very well located near the center and third and most important, I really liked the owner and the service. The menu, on the other hand is extremely simple. It has no fish at all, which is strange on a restaurant in Algarve and... More

A Taska provides good food in a relaxed, quirky setting. However the restaurant is very small so booking is highly recommended! I ordered the mixed grill “on the stone” in which the chicken, pork and beef all arrive raw. You are then given a very hot stone to cook the meat yourself. It might feel a bit like a gimmick... More

Very pleased with meal here after several dodgy meals elsewhere. Small menu but that was a good thing. Recommended!
