I really enjoyed 3 things: first the restaurant is really cozy with nice décor, secondly it is very well located near the center and third and most important, I really liked the owner and the service. The menu, on the other hand is extremely simple. It has no fish at all, which is strange on a restaurant in Algarve and... More

A Taska provides good food in a relaxed, quirky setting. However the restaurant is very small so booking is highly recommended! I ordered the mixed grill “on the stone” in which the chicken, pork and beef all arrive raw. You are then given a very hot stone to cook the meat yourself. It might feel a bit like a gimmick... More

Very pleased with meal here after several dodgy meals elsewhere. Small menu but that was a good thing. Recommended!

We stumbled across this little Gem on our way into Tavira, very small limited covers which makes it very quaint. Food excellent, fantastic quality, only one down side service very slow. Don't bother with the pate starter it would just about feed the ants outside

All good things come in small packages . Well that was certainly true for our visit. The food was superb the service top class and they even threw in a free desert as it was my birthday. We will be back and can highly recommend this little gem of a Resturant 5 stars.

Ate here twice while in Tavira, the unusal starters, figs & bacon, strawberries in balsamic were the first indications of this being a very good restaurant. Good ingredients, well cooked with superb ambiemce. Be warned though that it is small, so booking is advisable, don't open on Tuesdays.

If you want to eat meat this is the place. A place hidden from the others but very cosy. Good appetizers, very good service, beautiful place :) Romantic too. Everything was very nice.

This is a small (18 covers), up market restaurant. There were two staff, a waitress and waiter who later turned out to be the chef, we think he may also have been the owner. We were presented with the menus which were small hand made books with menus printed on what appeared to be hand made paper, tied into the... More

Definitely this is the best restaurant in town. The menu is only meat based but the quality is supreme and every dish is delicious. Despite this isn't a cheap restaurant (in fact this is an expensive one) they deserve the money. The environment is very cozy and familiar and the service is very good bur the best is the food.
