So it was January and not very busy and it could have been warmer a recurring theme throughout our stay this time. The food across the four different meals we had was of the highest standard and very tasty and as we are from the North West we have considerable experience of Asian food. This was amongst the best we... More

This was our second visit and the food was good both times. On the first occasion the pappadums were rather limp but this time they were nice and crispy. We did ask for the extra pickles though as they are only served with a couple of sauces. I don´t like food too spicy and their mild ´heat´ was just that.... More

We've tried out all the Indian restaurants in Tavira and this one is our favourite - We recommend all the madras curries, lamb rogan josh and garlic naan bread. Staff are always courteous and welcoming.

The food is nice, portions are decent, prices are ok, and the atmosphere not very Indian but never mind. However, they bring you nan bread even if you've not asked for any, then you eat it thinking it's free but it's not and you get charged, so that's a bit deceptive...

Always has been good but the last few visits (whilst here for three months) seem to get better. All the staff are so attentive but without being over the top and pushy, service with a smile. A good dining experience, very reasonably priced, consistent.

Been here twice lately, deffo a breath of fresh air to Tavira, living in Tavira it's nice to know you can now get an indian meal that's going to taste like you expect it to, the chef and staff deserve a pat on the back for a lovely clean restaurant with great service and fantastic food.

We love Indian food. We tried Several Indian restaurants, this was one of the best tasting experiences we had. Recommended and we will eat there again when the opportunity arrives.

Samosas, papadum, nan, prawn puri all freshly made and good but chicken Jalfrezi had same tomato base curry as other curries and wasn’t at all spicy, odd for un Jalfrezi.

We had some of the best Indian food that we have had at Kohinoor. The restaurant itself was neat and clean and the staff very helpful.
