There are three Indian restaurants in Lagos and this is the best. The interior is charming and warm. The staff are very nice, we had a soft drink spillage and they jokes with the kids over it and replaced both drinks without charge. Food is excellent, we had popadums, naan, roti and loads if curry :) Highly recommended.

Good food and service. Very good value. One of several Indians in Tavira. My wife preferred her meal to the equivalent back home!

This restaurant does an excellent lunch menu - extremely good value and just the right amount of food for lunch. The food and service are first class. This also applies to their normal evening menu.

Got a take away last night from them. If you love Indian food as much as I do then you need to eat here. Staff were lovely and cannot recommend them highly enough. Very reasonably priced and they threw in free poppadoms which were really crispy. Just go!

We really enjoyed the air conditioned restaurant on this hot day. The service was spot on, very accommodating. HUGE portions of delicious food and we were slightly embarrassed to leave so much. No problem as our request for a doggy bag was happily arranged. The tandoori special was wonderful, very tender chicken. We had a lovely evening, highly recommended.

We thought it was going to be empty as one of the waiters stood outside every day giving out menus to entice passers by to come inside, it was really busy and the food really tasty. Thought the large prawn shashlick was quite expensive at Euros17.50! Their popadums were fresh crispy and the cucumber salad was one of the nicest... More

We visited Tavira in April and loved the food at Kohinoor. It was great to try the chicken with nuts which I have never had before. Everything was well cooked and very tasty. The restaurant was not overly busy during the evening but people did keep arriving for meals. The service was attentive and they took credit cards for payment.... More

As usual during our trips to Tavira, we make a point of visiting Kohinoor. These guys serve great tasting Indian food from an extensive menu at reasonable prices. Indian restaurants in London should sit up and take notice. This is how delicious Indian cuisine should be. Worry not ... we'll be back shortly to savour your delights once again!

The lunch time menu for our family of seven left everyone happy and well fed. The meals were tasty and compared favourably with anything at home. The restaurant appears to be getting busier as the holiday season advances with good reason. The total bill of 84 Euros for six adults and one child included the pickle tray, poppadums’ mains and...
