Nothing too special about it. I was expecting a lot more since I read really good reviews, but it was a bit of a disappointment to be honest. Food was OK, service was OK, it was an OK experience overall but not really worth the price.

Ate here as a family on our last two nights in Tavira. Both the meat and fish were fresh and of good quality. Tuna, Sole, Sword Fish & Fillet Steak. Good soups and garlic mushrooms for starters and an extensive well priced wine list. The service is slick and friendly and the prices are reasonable. I observed lots of people... More

New position of old Tavira favourite I noticed it was full of tourists or ex pats looks the part but very average fair be warned. Big Disappointment Quality of food poor - using reformed Chicken breast was very poor it cuts restaurant costs but . Quality of wine suggested by their staff was very average - acidic worst red wine... More

We had a nice enough meal here, but not one of the best, but any means. We ate better, and for less money, at many other restaurants. My chicken was tender, my partner's fish was dry. The worst thing was the potatoes, a sorry little plate of reheated fried potato disks, that had the same texture and taste as soggy... More

I thought that I should give this restaurant a visit in its new location to see if the move made any change to the quality of the food or service.I have to say it did not- the food is still top class and the service just as good. The restaurant is a lot bigger inside and also the roof terrace... More

Over with a group of lads and decided to experience a true taste of Portugal on our last night and we were not disappointed. Had the tuna steak with fried mushrooms and ham, which was lovely! Everyone left saying how tasty their meal was, would 100% recommend.

Been eating here for the last 8 years and each year we return the guys always know what we want to eat and always recommend a super wine and always have time to ask how you are and always smile despite being rushed off their feet and always, always make you feel welcome. Yes you can get better food elsewhere... More

Just back from a week in Tavira. Ate here 3 nights out of our 7. The reasons were lovely food, pleasant service and good value. We had some slightly overlong waits during these visits but the staff are so hard-working and nice you couldnt let it spoil your night. The food is very tasty. Its much, much better value than... They don't pretend to be, what they are not. This is a simple, almost basic restaurant. If you order grilled fish, that's what you get. He fish is fresh, well prepared, no trimmings, that have to be mastered. Almost italian. The fish is fresh and tasty, they know how to cook it, don't leave it on the grill too long,... More
