We ate there on our last night, and it was perfect. The food was delicious, the waiters busy but attentive. You would have to book if you wanted to sit upstairs on the terrace, but the main restaurant is buzzing. j

We found this restaurant in its old home last time we were in Tavira and ate there several times. We had read on Tripadvisor of the move to a larger site and ate in the new attractive restaurant this time. The staff and food were as good and reasonable as ever. The only disappointment was that their roof terrace wasn't... More

Visited twice last week, we ate on the roof patio which is in the process of being completed. The place is very busy, mostly you have to book. They seem to be struggling to cope at the moment and we found the cooking of the meat not as good as previously experienced before they moved, fish as good as ever.... More

Excellent friendly service. Very welcoming. Food was good quality and well cooked and served with gratin vegetables. The Duck was Delicious. Reasonably prices. Would have no hesitation in returning for the lamb.

We were lucky and got a really nice table with an open window overlooking the street outside (people watching). The food was amazing, the wine perfect. After a while it got busy and we had to wait at least half an hour to get paid. Anyway, it's worth a visit. Remember to get a reservation if you are going to... More

My wife and I have used this small restaurant from the first opening at the old place .now it has moved to new premises and is still good with exultant fish and stake dishes not over priced . the two young men who run the restaurant are very pleasant and welcoming .Situated over the Roman Bridge in the old part... On the first visit we have been lucky because we just walked into the restaurant in the evening and it was very busy but the nice waiter found us a table :-) For a start the clams were amazingly yummy! Had it twice. We have been there 3 times for dinner and never disappointed. Seafood fresh, fish delicious and steak... More

Despite booking in advance,we were given a table in a small back room with a solitary diner who appeared to have a bad cold. When we complained we were advised they were fully booked...hmm...yes, including us.....we left and had an excellent meal at O Tonel...ironically close to where this restauarants was previously located.

Booth our dishes were pretty disappointung (Special dish: Tuna Steak and Steak with mushrooms and beacon) Tuna Steak was swimming in liquid butter, didnt appear all to fresh and it was hard to taste anything as the whole thing was covered in onions. Same with the steak: swimming in instant sauce, which was not very jummy. We saw dishes at... More
