Fantastic food & service and value for money! Also several in the party had a haircut at ANA GUERREIRO in Tavira. Trendy, sharp finish and again value for money. Thanks for looking after us all we will be back. The Manchester Crewe!!

Our original visit was OKish. We quickly got the plate of bread and sardine paste/garlic butter/carrots which was quite nice, but we waited ages to get our wine and had to remind the staff twice. The starter of squid which we shared was OK... my husband's bream was very good. I had fillets of plaice which were MOST peculiar, covered... More

Really enjoyed the clams in garlic & fresh grilled bass. Good value price but would have prefered to pay more for a bigger fish - bit on the small side & cooked 'split & flat' so not as juicy... Heaving with tourists packed in a back alley, not a great ambience/location Good friendly service

Been to Bica several times, the service sometimes may be a bit slow but it is well worth waiting for we have tried various meals off the menu and the quality of the food is fantastic.

This restaurant may not be as pretty as some of the others we visited, being just outside one of the main restaurant areas in Tavira (still central though), it is still well worth a visit. We looked inside and it seemed very basic but was incredibly busy and we are very glad we went. One of the reasons we were... More

Centrally located in Tavira, this is a superb little restaurant that overflows into the side alley. A wide and varied menu, the food was well prepared and presented on the three occasions I dined there recently. Friendly, welcoming staff who are keen to please. Used by locals, which is always a good sign. Busy, so go early or book.

We - our family - have been visiting Tavira and eating now and then at Bica since 1988. Over the years it has had its ups and downs. Right now it seems to be on a roll - the quality of its (especially fish and shellfish) dishes has improved over the past few years. Friendly, a bit chaotic and overworked... More

Well hidden in a small alley but obviously well known by both locals and tourists. Be sure to arrive early or be prepared to wait for a table. The Portuguese style beef was amazing, definitely the best I had during our stay.

The dish of the day looks excellent value, be carefully with the wine as they can charge 5 euros for a half bottle even though I asked for a small giraffe of house white. Starter was good value at €1.50 for olives bread pate and butter.
