The best Greek food yet!

We loved the food and wine . We felt it was the best Greek food yet! We had Dalmades and Pork in red wine .The service was very good. We enjoyed the house wine that was reasonably priced 750 ml bottle for only €10 We would truly recommend this restaurant. We love the ancient castle. Sooooo... read more

The food, the service, the people, the location, all perfect. If you want to be sure you'll eat there reserve a table because it is too busy

Unbelievably tasty food in a traditional Greek taverna restaurant. I absolutely recommend it for people who want to taste what great Greek food tastes like

We live for a couple of years in Greece. The fresh fish was really good. The people working here, are very kind. Greets from Nea Erythrea

We visited monemvasia during our 2-days stay on Elia. Everyone we asked for the best place to eat around pointed at Matoula or Venetia (the name of the owner). We consulted trip advisor which ranked it amongst the best and decided to give it a try. We tried beef and stake. Both were moderate, not well cooked and quite expensive.... More

Very friendly service, excellent food. Barrel wine was only rose. Not red. Very good stuffed cabbage leaves recommendation and pork 'tigania'. He didn't seem to have a set menu for Christmas, which is great not to capitalise on tourists and mainly offer what you've got.

Very touristic, but the options for dining inside the castle are very limited. The prices were, as expected, quite high.

We got here late during the world cup and ordered a couple of dishes. The eggplant salad was absolutely the best I have ever had. Their dolmas tasted like my mom and the specialty was nice too. The price was great, the garden gorgeous and the service good.

Went there to dine bit we were not satisfied at all with the food. Everything was badly touristic except from The prices that were overpriced.
