We had lunch here, and chose two courses from the recomandations for the day. Uncomplicated and nice food, with focus on local ingredients. Served by relaxed, nice (and apparently local) staff. Will visit again.

In short: Great atmosphere and delicious consumables Have been at the place more times and have always had great culinary experiences. Last time we were there - yesterday - we again had a nice evening with delicious food and wine. We had a seating in the first room which we were rather pleased about as the back of the room... More

Old Skagen is situated a mile to the west of the main town Skagen, on the west coast. These days there are several hotels and holiday homes but it still keeps the athmosphere of Skagen from old times. The Brasserie at Ruth's is part of the hotel, completely renovated a few years ago but still keeping a lot of the... More

the Brasserie belonging to the Ruth´s hotel, crowded with wealthy people or people who wants to be. Most of them have been drinking champagne or similar all afternoon in the outside terrasse, so they are very noisy at this dinner time. Can be a fun experience for once - then I would prefere a more calm place for dinner. Prices... More

While staying at the hotel we had booed a table for 2 adults and 1 child. The waiter showing us over table was a guy in his late thirties. He was very interested in all other guests than us.. you can really feel that you are not part of the 'usual group of guests' who is ding here. Not nice!... More

We had both breakfast (coffee and pan au chocolate) and a full lunch at Ruth's. We were there in late August after the crowds had gone. The staff was very attentive even bringing out a bowl of water for our dog. The food was fabulous. A gem in the middle of nowhere. We had breakfast at Ruth's and then went... More
