The mansion restaurant features Old Polish and regional cuisine. The exquisite dishes of Sarmathian cuisine perfectly harmonise with the history of the mansion hotel, dating back to the middle of the 19th century. The air-conditioned “Rastauracja Sarmacka”, paying tribute to the mansion’s historic character, offers space for 80 guests in a unique ambience with a view over the courtyard, the Lantern of Chocim, and the surrounding park.

It's the hotel&the restaurant in the same place. We went there because it looks lovely but it's the only positive thing I can tell about the restaurant. It wasn't the worst but it's just nothing special. To be honest, we spent 3 days in Sandomierz and we didn't find even one good restaurant there! What's wrong with you Sandomierz? Such... More

getting orders takes time even if the room was almost empty, staff members are busy chatting between themselves, definitely one of the places to avoid - and no one even takes care of greeting customers or smiling to those who are leaving... very poor experience!

Me and my work colleagues stayed in Sandomierz for a week. And as this city lacks of dining option (just few decent restaurant) sooner or later we came across Sarmacka. It was quite late but after quick consulting with kitchen staff we were still served. We ordered several typical polish dishes to share. Waitress was happy to recomend some of... More

Restaurancja Sarmacka is the restaurant for Hotel Sarmata in Sandomierz. Atmosphere is fairly formal and white table cloth, but the quality of the food doesn't match the atmosphere. Service was efficient though not particularly friendly. The kitchen was slow in delivering. There is a good well-priced wine list. We enjoyed a South African red blend for 75 zl. Horseradish and... Enjoy a quiet leisurely dinner here. The four of us each had something different and everyone was more than satisfied.

Lack of better alternatives in the whole city will make this place last a little longer. Interiors and menu seemed tempting so we were eating there evening dinner every day. Food selection was good and interesting. All soups are worth a sin, specially horseradish and tomato soup. Some of the dishes were lacking imagination and were oddly served. My tomato... More

I felt sorry for the one waitress who was trying to serve about 10 tables. She remained friendly and gave us a free drink when she apologized for our 30 minute wait for food, which was nicely prepared but nothing to praise.
