Very good value for 3 course fixed menu.

We stopped here for lunch. Enjoyed a walk around the town walls and square and then looked for lunch. This restaurant had a special 3 course fixed menu for 99 CZK. First course was a soup with egg. Second course was goulash with a meat that did not show up on our dictionary....not chicken... read more

They say offer a drink when we got to the restaurant. Be careful, it's a scamed. A big fraud to charge 240 CZK (about 9 euros) in the final bill! Besides that, everything is charged and the food is not anything special . In short, this restaurant is only for the Czechs, stealing the tourists shamelessly, like most restaurants in... More

The place itself is not bad, old-times sort of look, interesting, but they offer too many dishes (close to 100!!!!) so that's a bit suspicious...although the food was not bad in the end, we had to wait over an hour (!) for it...also no bread/butter included as a starter, drinks very expensive (tea for 50CZK!!!)...so overall, we were disappointed

Looked around Tabor for a place to have lunch and was drawn in my the well-priced weekend specials menu posted outside. It's not so to find bryndzove halusky on a menu so I went for it. The place was packed at noon on a December Saturday, but we fortunately snagged a table that hadn't been cleared yet. I loved the... More

I enjoyed the dinner I had at U Dvou Kocek, it was tasty and well priced. The place wasn't over crowded so the atmosphere was pleasant and the decor really in keeping with the historic area. Service is always an issue in Europe but we were looked after here. Food was well priced and delicious. I'd eat here again.

Second night in Prague. Service mediocre. Shots pushed on our table, ordered one, three were served. Within in 1.5 hours I became sick as a dog which lasted for the next 24 hours. Ate rabbit and creamed spinach. Also heavy smoke for a restaurant.

For a side street i would expect lower prices, but they probably have to cover the dozens of promotion boards around city. Entering inside we nearly were not greeted by waitress, for all our stay no smile at all, feeling like they dont care if they have customer or not. The service was not bad not good, but what was... Located in one of the narrow streets in the old town just off the main square, the Two Cats is an attractively decorated pub/restaurant. I have eaten here a number of times and it's not bad at all. Service can be what might best be described as, reticent. Buxom young girls with other interests. They once refused me rare a... More
