I hope other with more information will update the post in order not to confuse and mislead people. Hopefully we found Dadcafe just by Aragats with good simple him made meal otherwise it would be difficult... More

I was there for a birthday dinner we were a group of 25 people. The food was amazing simply delicious. the staff was super friendly and nice. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the starters were delicious too. We had the aubergine rolls with cheese and the grilled lamb for main. The place is a little hidden from Riga's... More

May be not for everyones taste, but if you like really quality food and try authentic armenian kitchen, then the place is perfect. And the attitude from the hostess (family run, grandma alike hostess) makes the stay there like visiting your grandmother in countryside. Not too cheap, but worth the money! And it's better to ask for recommendations what's tasty,... More

We went there on recommendation from Lonely planet. Restaurant is far from center, not visible from street. Prices are high set up for tourists. Menu is complicated. Food is poor. Bad choice at all.

I have been eating at this place since 1998. Their cooking is great with several favorite dishes. The minced eggplant with vegetables is owsome. The setting is kind of strange - it used to be an apartment. They fixing it now.

Good food, excellent georgian wines, excellent armenian distillates. This time, service so-so, because the owner had to take care of two friends of her, and she was the only one speaking english in the restaurant. If you like caucasian food, this is a right place to go, but I think (I'm not really sure) that you can go there only... More

Although most of the food was great (except shashlik which was burned and dry) and for us it was third time there, but they just lost a customer. The hostes was too intrusive during the dinner (or very friendly, depending how you look at it?), have been pushing (recommending?) extra dishes, but all would be ok, except the fact that... More

This is not a place where I would enjoy having a meal. Service was so slow that I even forgot what I ordered. Too expensive and too stale.

I know this restaurant for 15 years and its excellent quality only increases! If you do not hurry and like Caucasian kitchen, this is the best place in Riga, despite the competition (I know 2 other Armenian restaurants in Riga and 3 in Jurmala). Prices are moderate, 15-20 Ls (20-30 euro) per person.
