Although most of the food was great (except shashlik which was burned and dry) and for us it was third time there, but they just lost a customer. The hostes was too intrusive during the dinner (or very friendly, depending how you look at it?), have been pushing (recommending?) extra dishes, but all would be ok, except the fact that... More

This is not a place where I would enjoy having a meal. Service was so slow that I even forgot what I ordered. Too expensive and too stale.

I know this restaurant for 15 years and its excellent quality only increases! If you do not hurry and like Caucasian kitchen, this is the best place in Riga, despite the competition (I know 2 other Armenian restaurants in Riga and 3 in Jurmala). Prices are moderate, 15-20 Ls (20-30 euro) per person.

Tasty home made food! Went there twice because of the great shashliki (beef and pork). Very friendly personel and it looks and feels like eating at someone's house )))) You have a lot of trendy restaurants in Riga, but this is a real restaurant where they serve authentic, fresh and tasty food. Nothing fancy and nothing trendy, but just great... More

Authentic Georgian/Armenian cuisine absolutely worth 15-20 minute walk from the old town. Very hospitable staff headed by the owner (?) lady ready to help you with your order if you're not too familiar with Caucasian delights. As a matter of fact, her assistance was also quite helpful as far as VOLUME of the ordered food was concerned. We were so... More

It's located in an old anonymous building, and the sign is not very showy. You cross a door (now updating) and you'll be in an anonymous hall. You climb the stairs, turn right, and you will see a glass door with the name of the restaurant. A corridor more, and you'll be welcomed by the owner (?). Not so many... More

Four of us enjoyed a big dinner here on a cold wet night in Riga. Our effusive hostess chose a range of dishes for us to share, some of them very good, some just ok. Hilights included the walnut pate, chicken and eggplant baked in a ceramic dish, the hachapuri (cheese bread) and the walnut-stuffed prunes for dessert. The barbecue... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant whilst looking for the Chocolate Factory (which we now know is closed on Weekends!). It was brilliant. There were 12 of us and it was no problem at all. They made up a table in a private room where the lady owner talked us through the cuisine on offer and the history of the food.... More
