50th birthday meal

What a great experience. Didn't know what to expect but had the best meal. Wonderful staff explained each course and the attention to detail was spot on. Even brought out a cake as an unexpected surprise. Outstanding quality and service...fine dining at its best. Not to be missed if you're in Riga.

Vincents was one of the very first fine dining restaurants in post-Soviet Latvia. Opened by the renowned chef Mārtiņš Rītiņš, it has prospered ever since. Guests have included royalty and major celebrities, and countless chefs in Latvia have begun their careers at Vicents. My last meal there was last autumn in the companionship of a dear friend who was once... More

We went with a group of 10 and all had the same menu and asked for wine paring. We started with two different champagnes to start with before dinner. When the sommelier notices there were some people who are really interested in wine he had us taste the wine blind with each course. That was a really nice way of... More

We had seven course menu and we did have high expedions due to it that this restaurant is ranked to be the first in Latvia. But Biblioteka nr. 1 is better.Vincent did have some great dishes but as well dishes which were quite average. Desserts were cheese and last one chokolade, too heavy. But we saw the cheaf and spoke... More

We went to this restaurant a year ago for a 7-course meal and it was brilliant - worthy of a michelin star. We went again and either they had a bad night or the standard has dropped a lot. The first time we got fres, delicious bread, last night it was hard and not at all as tasty as before. The amuche... More

It was magical! We had the set meny recommended by the chef, and all 5 courses was a magic show in presentation and in tast. The win we had was spot on with every dish! Exelent! But we had one thing we had a problem with, and it was the lacking service after we finished. We would love to take... More

We were here for dinner. It's really high cousine and very professional staff. My compliments to Chef, he is magician and really loves cooking. Very famous place in Riga. Must visit if you like non-traditional food.

Had a 5 - course with wine, which actually had 8 courses. Food and wine was amazing. Service was excellent. High price, but worth every cent. Highly recommended if you can spend 75-150 euros per person.

This is by far the most expensive, but also the most exquisite restaurant. The ingredients are very carefully selected, much attention is paid to interesting presentation of the meal. I like how natural flavors of food are preserved and brought out to impress smell and taste. The staff is very attentive. The dinner is thought out to smallest detail. I... More

Had 5- course tasting menu with wines. Some of the dishes quite innovative and all the food very tasty. Staff very professional and well briefed on all the dishes and wines. If I have to find something that was not perfect is that we were already full when the dessert came and it was slightly too big but tasted very... More
