This time it was drinks only as we just had breakfast before that. It was nice although recommend to keep that kitchen door closed.

Nice the idea of letting you start you meal with some sauces spread in front of you, to be collected by bread. As for the menu, it gives you just an indication of what you eat (lamb, veal, cod), up to the waiter to explain the details, once again nice. Large choices of wine, a bit shifted over the expensive... More

We have found out this place online and wanted to try out. So, we called the day before and reserved a table. The presentation of the food was great - the absolutely delicious bread sauces, split around by the waiter, the lay-out of food on the plates. We ordered veal heart & tongue, fish soup and the marble steak. The... More

We have been to many restaurants in our life all over the world but never had the experience of 5 colorful sauces being spilled in artistic form on a paper placemat. They were reminiscent of a Mark Rothko, the famous artist of Latvian descent. The bread the came with it was absolutely delicious. The main course we shared was duck... More

Perhaps the famous 3 chefs are the owners of these premises, but the restaurant is now managed by very young, nice and kind fellows. Funny, spectacular but questionable the compliment of the house (a sort of edible painting they make on a greaseproof paper laid in front of you), good the raw salmon (in spite of some questionable sauces), excellent... Wife and I took the advice of our city tour guide. Dead center in old town and we stopped in for lunch. Ingus, our server, helped us with the menu selections. We ordered two of the appetizers. My wife ordered Buriata, a soft mozzerela dish. I ordered the Octopus. Well before they arrived, we were surprised when a pretty young... More

Interesting, different from others and of course everything is tasty! Very good service - these people know a lot about food, they are serving.

I expected a decent food but what we got was a total bliss. It all started with fancy and innovative bread-sauces art (great idea). When I tasted their Foie Gras I was speachless. The combination of the thick/fatty liver with sweet/sour berry sauce was simply a heaven. This coupled with Angus steak (a bit thin but very juicy) and chocolate... More
