Typical pub for the tourist clientele

Centrally located in the Old Town, a fairly large place in a so-called Victorian style. This means a very simple effort by some UK shop-fitters coming in to put up some lead glass windows, mirrors and brass lamps. In order to make it truly British, they have put up an wooden replica of a... read more

Looks like an Irish pub (sort of), but lacks the atmosphere. Mainly has burgers on the menu. I had the Mexican Burger, and that was very good, with a nice draft beer at a reasonable price. The fries however were worthless. VERY sloooow service. It took them half an hour to take my order and another 15 min to bring... More

I visited here on friday evening around 21:30. It was getting quite late, so after quickly checking the menus of this and 3 or 4 other places, I opted for this one. After asking what the soup of the day was and being told it was vegetable, I ordered that as my starter. I'd describe what I got as pork... More

Dropped into the Queens whilst on a short city break in Riga. Ordered beer snacks platter and nachos with 2 pints. Food really good, garlic breads, cheese bites and cured meats. Nachos ok could have done with being served warm especially the cheese. Let down was the very rude dark haired waitress in bright pink fleece - who slammed our... More

Can't say I was very enthusiastic about the food here. Had a steak with pepper sauce: sauce tasted very bad. Added some mashed potatoes and vegetables. Quite overpriced for the quality of the food, I must say.

I usually dont negative reviews. but I felt like I should this time. The food is good, but the serving size is really small and the price is pretty high. As a pub, it is decent, but I so not recommend going here, if you want to have afilling meal.

although this is quite a nice pub with entertainment on most nights it lacks for me any ambience, basically seems like drop in bar for one drink neither good nor bad.
