What a treat! The crown on our stay in Riga.

Go for the 9-course 'degustation' menu and you will not be disappointed. Already the setting (in the park) and the service (our waiter at least) are perfect - which can not be said for all restaurants in Riga, where we found the food good but the staff moody and unfriendly, but that aside... read more

Great menu, excellent presentation, wonderful taste. Good selection of French and Italian wines. Tried tuna carpaccio, eel&foie gras (eco-friendly eel?), extraordinary, then continued with marensin chicken an duck breast. Ended meal with a superb fondant.

Classy all the way. The locals seem to rate it as the finest restaurant in Riga, and we found it to be excellent. Seafood and beef both very good, burrata was a stand out, dessert excellent, and a range of amuse bouche were welcome. Not cheap, but worth it.

It's very hard when you have a high bar for tasting menus, but this one failed for me on multiple accounts. 5 of the 9 courses were sorbet or granita. Very gimmicky approach. Also a lazy one. Don't serve me cucumber granita and tell me I am eating a vegetable. In a seasons of beautiful food, I found the menu... More

This restaurant is in class of its own as far as Latvia is concerned. My experience here came shortly after one of the world's finest in Barcelona and while my taste buds had been dulled somewhat by a mild head cold. So on that European grand stage and all things considering it was never, to be fair to them, going... More

I went for a brunch visit. The place was bright with big windows overlooking the park -- perfect for a Sunday brunch. Diners included couples, families and me. The locals seemed to be of the wealthy variety. The impressive buffet included salmon sashimi, fresh oysters, herring, fried shrimp, sushi rolls, salmon salad, and more. I particularly liked the freshness and quality... More

This is a restaurant with a huge amount of theatre both in its décor and in the food. It's beautifully appointed in a quirky way but feels really comfortable. The food matches in terms of the flamboyance of service, especially the tasting menu, but with amazing flavours on the plate. The sommelier was really helpful and we ended up with... More

Truly a great restaurant, very pleasantly surprised .. the food and service was first class. My wife and I had the tasting menu which was a real treat. Great combination of local fresh ingredients made with a lot of love and class. The staff were outstanding, friendly and informative with very good english speaking skills. The tasting menu consisted of... More
