Wish places like this existed in UK parks. Cute, extremely comfortable, friendly. You literally order drinks and/or cake, go upstairs, kick off your shoes and relax on cushions overlooking the beautiful park and river. Wish we had gone more often.

What a lovely little place, I wish there were a few of these places in the UK where I live. If you want a quick service, this isn't for you as the whole point is to be relaxed and just chill while watching the world go by. The selection of teas was outstanding and I settled for a boring but... More

Have a tea-break in a park, outside of the busy old town. Go upstairs, kick off your shoes and enjoy.

Less than 5 minutes walk from the windy streets of old town, you'll find this quaint little tea house. The bottom floor is similar to any other tea or coffee house, but up the sprial staircase, things are much more interesting. On a circular landing over a small fence you'll find mattresses and pillow that sit on the ground facing... More

This is one of the perfect building to open a teahouse. Colours, pillows and everything what I can see is perfect. Tea is good too. But: I'm sad because music is too loud, it's totally from other world (boring radiopop) and really problem if you want to calm and harmonizing yourself. I have not perfect english and I dont know... The layout of this tea house is what makes it worth a visit. It is nice to sit upstairs on the cushions and floor, especially after a long day of sightseeing, and just look out. The downstairs is open air with tables if you prefer chairs. I was lucky to find this place on a day that was low key... More

I really liked the tea house. You can sit on cushions upstairs (no tables or chairs there) and look at the busy street or the quiet park. They have an enormous choice of tea (3 euros for a small pot) and they also sell nice home-made cookies (36 cents). It seems popular with the locals as well. The staff are... More

We wanted to enjoy the beautiful surroundings whilst sipping a cup of tea - instead mayhem ensued. Very little staff to serve and clear away. Many patrons waiting to be served and trying to figure out if it is self service or not. I can see it must be a lovely place when they are not busy, but they are... More

…but a self-service (???) tea house facing Pilsetas kanals. It has been disgusting to see empty tea cups, teapots, and mostly leftovers on the tables, and no waitresses tiding out. After a 20 min wait (nobody cared about me), I ran away. What a mess!!!

A lovely place to stop for a cup of tea and a rest in central Riga. A great range of different teas which staff can help make recommendations for. The upstairs seating area is lovely and very relaxing especially if you get a canal side view.
