The meals are tasty, of proper size and are a great value. Also the beer is quite affordable. It was a great mix out of local people and international travelers. Definitely would come back again!!

i want to take this bar home with me! Great value food and drink, live music (we had a jazz singer/band) and friendly staff. It gets busy - if visiting on a gig night/weekend, it's worth booking. It's in a basement and has a great atmosphere!

Great beers, great place, great food. Best place where to eat and enjoy Riga at night. I suggest the "folk fest" in Wednesday, you can dance and have a lot of fun. You can get 3 l beer with like 16€ and a 0,5 with 3€. Must try bread and garlic!

Just visited this restaurant and arrived about 6:50 and we were lucky to find a table. We were seated at a table for 7 which had a good view of the stage and near the bar. The crowd was mainly locals with a few tourists and the atmosphere was lively. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, the service was... More

I stopped here at the recommendation of a woman who worked at my hostel. It's deep in a basement and wasn't very well lit, but it was warm and it was cheap. I had the garlic toast - which was good apart from being toasted until it was pretty solid and crunchy. I also had the Latvian meatballs with sauerkraut... More

Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a go! Turned out to be one of the best places we went to on our trip. First of all, the waiter was outstanding! Even though we had not booked they managed to find us a table right at the front of the stage, where a traditional Latvian Folk... More

A good place to taste local cuisine, but quite crowded and noisy in the evenings. The prices are quite moderate (especially for the Old Town). There are not that many dishes, but you can always chose something typically Estonian, and the portions are huge, so for sure you will not be hungry or disappointed.

Really enjoyed our meal. It was very busy so service was a bit slow but this was a lovely place to have a meal or just a drink and the prices were very reasonable - especially for drinks.
