Description: Tinto wine restaurant was quite a surprise. It is hidden under massive building right beside, to my mind, the most beautiful cinema in Europa - cinema "Riga". It turned out that Tinto has their own entrance to the cinema which is great thing. The cuisine and service was splendid, as well as their offer of wines. If you are in Riga, i do recommend.

Good place to take a glass of wine. Please, ask Arturs, the owner, if he is here! Arturs is well educated in wines, therefore, You will be ab;e to find good options for a glass of wine.

Staff should be trained to meet special needs of the customer. When asked about ingredients like gluten staff should know even the question. Food was ok, nothing wrong with that but nothing special either.

Restaurant furnishings could be cozier, for me it looks a little bit "cold" or to modern BUT they have great variety of wines, small-thought out menü and it was very delicious . This is one of a rarest places in Riga , where the chef knows how to make Chocolate Fondant ;)

If you compare with other italian restaurants, it is not matching the standards of Italian food, not in the menu, not in the quality. The service is not good; the second course was coming before I finished the first dish. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cold and has no personality. If you compare with other restaurants, Tinto cannot stand... More

We were very surprised by the quality of the food in this restaurant. Especially the duck breast was good. The surroundings makes you want to go watch a play in the theater!

To say it isn't a restaurant shows how stupid most Italians are! No pizza? Sorry this is fine dining in a relaxed environment. The beer is superb as is all the food we have consumed tonight. Finish with cocktails next door in skyline lounge cheap as chips with best view in Europe

….but a wine bar, with a few tables outdoors. Of course, you can eat something. Wines by the glass are normal. The young waitress is kind. Correct the prices.

Located in the arms of old cinema ''Riga'' building, this is a tiny place where to enjoy a glass of wine of two. The food menu is not too big and I have tried mainly salads and I think the prices are a bit too high for what's on the offer. I have met very friendly staff in there and... More

After a risotto and a pasta for lunch with my wife -- who was flying back home that afternoon -- I decided this was an ideal place for dinner on my own that same evening. I was lucky, because during this week in May a number of restaurants offered a three-course "Spring Menu" for a modest price; and Tinto offered... More

The place is nice and "warm". You can taste a lot of wine from different country around the world. There is the possibility to eat very good tapas, soups and others small dishes. The service is excellent.
