A lovely little coffee and cake shop! Great coffees and a huge array of delicious cakes and pastries, served in a lovingly restored bake house. Well worth stopping in!

We went past by a few times during the weekend and decided to go there for dessert on the last day. The cakes were really good (mine had some black balsam inside along side with nuts, really tasty!) and the drink were good as well. Nice staff.

Well what a lovely bakers and cake shop. Had a relaxing tea( real leaf tea) and cake in relaxed atmosphere. Also bought cakes to eat back in our hotel room.

I've tasted around 10 sweets. For me, the best was one with chocolate and marzipan. Is just wonderful! The sweets aren't too sweets and if you wish, you can take them away with you or just seat and enjoy a coffee or tea with cakes, tarts, strudels, or breads. The staff is really friendly!

We stopped in during a rainy mid morning walk around old town. The pastry and coffee counter is in the front room and there is a comfortable back room to relax. The pastries were fresh and reasonably priced. There were the traditional varieties of coffee and a hot chocolate which others said was enjoyable. A cappacino and a delicious pasty... More

On a cold rainy day, this was very welcoming. The coffee and hot chocolate were both very good and there was no stinting on the volume. The cakes were also quite large portions and the quality was good.

Came here twice in 3 days. A nice place to drop in and have afternoon cakes and coffee and hot chocolate. Prices were reasonable and the cakes very nice, especially the tortes. Take note that the Latvians seem to like their cottage cheese and it features heavily in many of the cakes. Also, their cakes are not overly sweet compared... More
