Description: Located inside one of the most beautifully restored buildings in the Old Town, this superior restaurant is an excellent choice for an impressive business lunch or a relaxing evening meal. A cool and classy atmosphere and laid-back jazz lounge sounds set the tone as a friendly, well-dressed, English-speaking waiter accompanies you to your elegantly laid table. Enjoy a freshly squeezed juice with your business lunch, which could begin with the delicious Cream of Vegetable Soup, thick with a rich and leafy taste, the consistency eased by a generous topping of double cream and a whirl of pesto sauce. Continue with the Mixed Leaf Salad with Goat’s Cheese, perfect for a warm day, the intriguing play of summery taste combinations including fresh basil, cress and lentil grass, grapes, pears and a light sprinkling of nuts, completed with a red wine dressing. The a la carte menu is full of tempting dishes that inventively match mouthwatering combinations, such as the Smoked Eel Fillet with Daikon Salad, Crunchy Rye Bread and Sour Cream-Vodka Sauce, or the Czarskaya Fish Solyanka with Salmon Caviar. Sturgeon caviar, Kamchatka crab meat, duck, ostrich, lamb and beef adorn the menu together fine wines and refreshing cocktails – and the desserts are heavenly! Restaurant opens every day from 12:00 – 23:00. Special lunch menu you can enjoy from 12:00 -16:00.

Staff happy to provide something that may not be on the menu eg cheeseboard to finish my meal. Also let us eat in the bar area rather than sit alone in the restaurant.

me and my best friend were staying in the hotel and tried the restaurant. Impressive menu and interesting taste combinations. And the quality of food was really good, but, We asked for some kartupeli fri (fries) as a side with our main courses. The waiter brought them out as a starter? The bread was amazing. The waiter asked if I... More

During the day we had capuccino with a very tasty piece of cheese cake. This made us decide to return for supper after visiting the Latvian National Opera that night, which is just a few minutes walking away. One can order until 10 pm, which fitted nicely the opera schedule. The service is pleasant and the food was an excellent... More

We were looking through Tripadvisor recommendations for a place for the Christmas dinner and decided in favor of this one. With its’ slightly retro elegant interior and food artistically arranged on the plates the restaurant felt quite upscale. A cozy place just to sit and talk while having a glass of wine.Around 25 Ls for two mains and two desserts... More

We had dinner here two times during our stay at the Old City Boutique Hotel. The last night we all had a three course meal and all meals were exquisite and of very high quality. Relatively cheap as well. If you stay at the hotel you also get a 10% discount. Can definiately recommend this restaurant.

We stayed at this hotel - one evening, too tired to go out - we used our 10% guest discount and had dinner there! Really nice food, friendly staff!! Salad with prawns was great, dessert with goat cheese ice cream at least an interesting idea!

The menu is a nice mix of not really exciting stuff, but it's made with a great eye for detail and taste. I had the foie gras (little bit too much green stuff), the coconut Thai soup (mildly spicy), the lamb (could be more tender) and the chocolate dessert (perfect). The flavors were great and within range, the plates looks... More

I didn't expect anything stunning from the restaurant at Old City Riga Boutique hotel. However the hotel's restaurant surprised me a lot with high quality of food, plate presentation and service. The restaurant is quite small, it looks more like a lobby bar, not a hotel restaurant with plenty of space. It is 4 tables only along the wall opposite... More

Only went there as we were staying at the Hotel and were tired on the first night. Food quality was first class, well prepared and beautifully presented. Service, which we found to be variable in Riga, was excellent and attentive without being intrusive. I'm surprised it's not higher up the Restaurants in Riga ratings.
