Located inside one of the most beautifully restored buildings in the Old Town, this superior restaurant is an excellent choice for an impressive business lunch or a relaxing evening meal. A cool and classy atmosphere and laid-back jazz lounge sounds set the tone as a friendly, well-dressed, English-speaking waiter accompanies you to your elegantly laid table.

Enjoy a freshly squeezed juice with your business lunch, which could begin with the delicious Cream of Vegetable Soup, thick with a rich and leafy taste, the consistency eased by a generous topping of double cream and a whirl of pesto sauce. Continue with the Mixed Leaf Salad with Goat’s Cheese, perfect for a warm day, the intriguing play of summery taste combinations including fresh basil, cress and lentil grass, grapes, pears and a light sprinkling of nuts, completed with a red wine dressing.
The a la carte menu is full of tempting dishes that inventively match mouthwatering combinations, such as the Smoked Eel Fillet with Daikon Salad, Crunchy Rye Bread and Sour Cream-Vodka Sauce, or the Czarskaya Fish Solyanka with Salmon Caviar. Sturgeon caviar, Kamchatka crab meat, duck, ostrich, lamb and beef adorn the menu together fine wines and refreshing cocktails – and the desserts are heavenly!

Restaurant opens every day from 12:00 – 23:00. Special lunch menu you can enjoy from 12:00 -16:00.

An excellent food choice

I went to this place some time in Summer as I have passed this Hotel (where restaurant is situated) many times. Probably one of the most expensive restaurants, but I must admit - for the reason - the choice and wide spectre of food is great! A place you can find a fine caviar!

We stayed at the hotel, and had breakfast and one dinner here. The food is good, and well prepared, but it is sort of a dark basement space, so if you are after ambiance, go elsewhere. Close to Old Town.

We stayed at the hotel with it's combination of old and new buildings, very quaint! We ate in it the first night but although the food was excellent - great scallops -it was very quiet and this was a shame as the staff service and food were all of a great standard especially for the reasonable price.

The food is great and nicely presented. However, the portions are just too big. If you want to try a full corse meal that includes cold starters and then salad, etc. you will get full after one pasta for sure, you won't even need more. However, if you like to eat relatively cheap and to be full faster, it is... More

Quite simply, excellent food. My fiancé and I had the full three courses each, accompanied by possibly the best bread basket I've encountered (it contained five different breads, all warmed through). I had the French onion soup (accompanied by amazing deep-fried goats cheese) and chicken pasta and my fiancé had a very desirous seated salmon stater and then beef. We... More

Each dish was an artistic delight. Very enjoyable. Quiet evening in the restaurant, little or no atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

I stayed at the hotel for one night, and I was so tired on arrival, I decided to eat in the restaurant. What an amazing experience. This is fine dining at a three-star price. The restaurant staff were friendly, well-educated in European dining protocol and the food was well presented, gourmet quality and delicious. I liked it so much I... More

On our first night in Riga, we decided to eat in the hotel, just for convenience as it had been a long day. We are so glad we did. The quality of the food was exceptional, the portions were generous and the price quite unbelievable. I had the carpaccio of beef, goose livers with lobster risotto and apple strudel. My... More

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It is a gem and we were also lucky enough to get a discount for 10% off from the hotel as we were residents. Service was fine, but the food was outstanding. A basket of warm breads and savoury pastries came out first- faultless and such a different selection to what you would... More
