Great location in the middle of the old town. We randomly chose the restaurant for dinner and were very happy. Very professional and friendly staff. We chose to sit inside which was great, the atmosphere and interior is very nice. Our group of four all had different courses, each one excellent. The prices aren't bad either. Worth a visit!

After pleasantly wandering through Riga's Old Town environs near St Perter's Church, we randomly chose to have lunch at Domini Canes. Unaware of the restaurant's popularity and rave reviews, we studied the menu while leisurely sipping cold beers before ordering. What caught our eye was a statement at the top of the menu: "Every meal is a work of art,... More

We ate here with friends and we all enjoyed our food. Two of us had the salad with goat cheese as a starter. I love goat cheese and I must say - this is undoubtedly the best I ever had - fresh and creamy! Wines were very reasonably priced. Service was attentive and friendly. Risotto was excellent. It is in... More

I had the butterfish which was scrumptious and my travel partners had the tiger prawn risotto, also great. A bit of a wait and we had to eat indoors since all the outside tables were full-it was pretty warm inside. One of the best meals I've had in awhile.

I ate a medium + steak whick was very tasty! But potato"cakes" that came as a sidedish were not so good. Tasted a bit rare and structure was gummy... Desert which was pannacotta, was again yummy.

Very good value for price. Intimate and personal feel. Steak was very nice for the price. Prime location.

We came here because of good ratings in tripadvisor. Everything was ok, but we expected more. I had trout, which was a bit dry, but otherwise tasty. My partner had meat, and it was ok. The dessert was excellent (we had some berries with mascarpone creme). The staff were friendly, but when I mentioned about the dryines of the trout,... More

We came upon this restaurant after our daughters college music group performed at a World Choir Games event in St Peter's Cathedral located just across the street. A group of seven ate here one evening - the food was fantastic, the service not in your face and it was clear that the chefs artistic background was reflected in the food... More

Staying only one night for a business trip me and my colleague looked for a nice place to eat. More or less by accident we came along Domini Canes. We both had seafood. Starting with some scallops, beautifully cooked on one side and prawns on blanched vegetables on the other side. Followed by cod for my colleague and trout for... More
