Visited the pierre chocolaterie during a recent trip to Tallinn. The cafe was crowded when we arrived but we managed to grab a table. We went all out and got the pierre hot chocolate (around 5 euros each) that comes with ice cream and whipped cream. It was a lovely treat and all that sugar powered us to explore Tallinn... More

First thing - how to find it. Vene is an easy street to find but Pierre's is in a small courtyard ( the Meistrihoov) off the main street. Listen for the French cafe music. The hot chocolate is gorgeous and the truffles are good too. It's a quirky series of rooms knocked into one. A local tipped us off and... More

Gorgeous little hidden café with a LOT of atmosphere. Very heavy sweet cakes, had the white chocolate cheese cake (very good) and the porter, both at €5 each. Tasty. Friendly staff, lovely place

Stumbled by accident on this place, hidden away in an inner yard with some handicraft stores. The interior is very romantically old-fashioned with lots of ambiance. We had some white tea which was very nice, as was the mulled wine. Didn't eat anything so can't comment on that, but the pastries on offer looked delicious. Service was very good and... More

We had a rich and warming lunch after a 3 hour walk around Tallinn. The cafe is a little dark, but has interesting decor - and the most delicious cakes (chocolate and walnut cake, super rich and decadent) and tasty hot chocolate drinks - that spiked with tequila and chilli comes highly recommended.

Well, it's the place for people who love those old-school heavy sweets. White-chocolate cake was pretty good and portion was kinda small but i still was unable to finish it cause it was soooo heavy. Pierre hot chocolate was good, and tiramisu unfortunately below average. Atmosphere was dark but in a kind way, hostesses were welcoming, prices are a bit... More

atmosphere is the word! very cosy and stylish place, small old-fashion tables, seems crowded, but not congested. No loud annoying music (important!). Perfect candies with chili pepper... though coffee might have been better and hotter, which is not the least thing in winter

We were looking for a nice place for breakfast when we found Masters Courtyard. Passing the gate the yard reveals in a quite and great atmospheric open space. We took our breakfast here, but we more enjoyed the yard and its small and artistic shops. This is a good place if you want to read or write something, while having... More

Perfect for a drink and a quiet corner. Best (spiked!) hot chocolates I've ever had. Not really a place to come in a group to eat (my mistake not theirs) but I'll head back by myself with a newspaper and go for the rum hot chocolate next.
