This is a very beautiful castle like restaurant with good food BUT the menu is confusing. We looked at the menu posted outside the restaurant in the morning and decided to come back for lunch later. When we returned we waited for a table at the terrace for about 20 min. but when we sat down we noticed the menu... More

You must try the pumpkin soup! And the Peppersack. Our friend had the duck and raved about it. Great for meat eaters....right in the center of Old Town. Great place to people watch too! Friendly service...

Loved the food - I had the salmon with rice and tartar sauce, my partner had the "Artisan's Dream" and loved it. And I can't forget the bread! The bread you get as while waiting for your food is AMAZING. So good we were still talking about it days later. The garlic butter that goes with it was amazing as... More

A restaurant that complements the character of lovely Tallin old town. Waiters and waitresses wearing traditional costume in mediaeval style building. Rack of lamb was superb. Beautifully cooked and presented. A top experience !

We sat outside at Peppersack on a cool evening with a group of 8. The blankets were much appreciated, but did not make up for the very slow service and the relatively high prices for food that was average at best.

Surprisingly good food. Big bonus for most of the food not having any milk. Interior is typical Tallinn old town restaurant.

Edible food, good service but bit like a theme park medieval themed restaurant. The portions were large and tasty. Apparently has a show, a bit of a sword fight mid evening but we did not see. That may make it a good choice for families with children.

Good food in the heart of old town, this of course explains the rather high prices. The food was tasty.

The restaurant was obviously very popular, but getting a table was no problem. The ambiance overall was pretty nice, especially if you're into this kind of touristy "ye olde" thing. Staff was friendly, but very busy. The food, however, was a huge letdown. The best thing we had was the dark, warm garlic bread appetizer. The pork was very dense... More
