If you want a place for dinner in Tallinn then book and take yourself to the Peppersack. Just walking through the doors you felt like you entered a medieval castle or something. We were met by a very sweet waitress who took us up,up and up to the eve's where tables was standing in a row. Music was playing and nice... More

Great little restaurant, good service, reasonably priced food. Nice ambience. Very helpful sweet waitress who helped us with our choices with her excellent English, and as we left she handed each of us a scroll detailing the history of the building which had originated in 1370 as a grain store.

It wasn't the highlight of our trip and the salmon was slightly too greesy, but overall still tasty! Very nice atmosphere.

This place with welcoming entrance is must for anyone who is first-time Tallinn. Whereas food is really nothing special, they serve excellent beer and the little show they make in the middle of the evening is very refreshing.

I had the garlic bread with dip and Borsch with sour cream ( beetroot soup) and light beer. The food and beer was great. The service of the sweet waitress was god. great authentic atmosphere. I can recommend this place for everyone :-)

Went here with a group on a stag do, 18 of us all had the same meal and it was pretty good considering just how busy the place was (there must have been hundreds of people in there). Highlight of the night was the swordfight and terrible joke telling by the resident actors. All in all an eventful meal!

We have been here quite a few times with a family. Earlier good time and good food. This time less good food, ie, smaller portions and menu has changed. No tiramisu or creme brule anymore. An ice cake that did not convince.

This restaurant seems to get mixed reviews, however I must have gone on a good day. Food and ambience great although the mock medieval sword fight on the stair case was a bit OTT. Worth a try if your near the old city square in Tallin.

Went over to the Peppersack after being unimpressed with the Old Hansa menu. For being on a tourist square, this was a FAB choice! The beer was amazing, food was delicious. I had this hearty and healthy salad that had all my table-mates nibbling off my plate! It was a lovely September lunchtime and we were able to eat at... More
