Michelin Worthy Food

Not the cheapest place to eat in Tallinn, but the most chic that we found, and the best food. Delicately flavoured, and beautifully garnished, Bordoo produces food of which any chef would be proud.

My wife and I had diner in this restaurant twice. First was 4 course menu and second was venison fillet. Both were satisfatory. First diner was with live piano music. Second was with very elegant ambience with peofessional service. The waiter was prompt and knew what to do. It will be this restaurant if I would come back to Tallin.

We returned to the three sisters having had one of the best meals of our lives about 4 years ago. We found that all had changed and not for the better. Where you used to eat in a cosy and pretty dining room in the hotel you now eat in a souless restaurant Bordoo. Where the staff had been warm... More

We were visiting this restaurant Bordoo on a valentine's day so they only had the special 8 (?) course (including desserts) meal deal. It cost about 110 EUR per person. All the dishes were very fancy and sometimes we really had no idea what we were eating though it was very delicious! Each time we have received the meal out... More

We had a great dinner. The menu was short and sophisticated - not a hamburger in sight. The wine list extensive and the modest wine we chose was available and well priced. In a different league to any other meal we had Tallin.

When we arrived at the restaurant, they did not know about our reservation which was done through their website 3 weeks before, never the less they found us a table easily because the restaurant was pretty empty. We were in a small room and the reason why was that they were cleaning the restaurant. When it comes to the food... More

After chef Tõnis Siigur left the restaurant earlier this year due to the change of owner of the Three Sister Hotel, Bordoo is not the same. Still there are great interiors and very caring service, but the menu, put together by a new chef is very ordinary, and the quality of food served is very average. The chocolate fondant is... More

We stumbled upon this after getting off the boat from Finland and coming through Fat Margaret's Gate. Not our usual lunchtime fare bit we really enjoyed our meal of scallops, rabbit and steak! We sat in the courtyard on a beautiful sunny day and were very well served. The highlight was going to the toilet which were amazing with stained... More

Two excellent lunches: one inside, in the rather formal restaurant, the other in the very nicely arranged court yard, offering a direct entrance from the street. Excellent pike perch and duck "confit", both interesting and delicious, followed by tasty desserts. The service was excellent, both times. Two negative points : billing tap water (although served in a beautiful carafe, with... More

I can only echo the previous reviewer, Mummi1111, in the comments. Uninspiring menu . I couldn’t bring myself to order a hamburger (which is the default room service option post midnight). And there were only two other choices. I asked what the fish of the day was, only to be told it was “white”. I probed a bit further –... More
