A place to visit more

It was a surprise to me that in Tallinn there is such a nice place to go and eat. We sat inside and interior there was everything you could expect: Music fitted perfectly, tables had been nicely set and there was information about the history on the walls, that you could read while waiting for your... read more

My wife and I really enjoyed this experience. The welcome was good and the Halibut dish we had for our main course was just delicious. The host treated us to their own pepper vodka which warmed us up on this cool evening. It is located just at the back of the Europa hotel. Worth a visit and very reasonable. 65... More

This restaurant is on an old ship that is moored in the harbour. It provides a very romantic and different environment for a meal and a pleasant view. It looks very pretty especially at night when it is lit-up. The food is fresh and cooked to order. We had an excellent grilled halibut steak. The waiters are dressed as sailors... More

Nice little restaurant, that don't show a lot from outside, but is very nicely decorated in nautical theme inside. Menu is not huge in selection, but still big enough for everyone to find a meal they like. For starters we had shrimp salad and meat filled pelmeni. Salad was a little under seasoned and lacked some acid, Pelmenis tasted ok,... More

Ok We was looking for another restraunt when we saw the admiral sitting in the docks near the ferry terminal. After looking at the outside menu we decided to go in. Not for people with disabilities. It was about 4.45pm and no one else was around just me and a friend, the waiter arrived took our order I had a... More

Dear Dennis Thank you for the review of our restaurant. We are glad that we could offer you a unique experience of eating on a historical steam boat. Your remark about difficulties for people with disabilities is a correct one, but unfortunately there is not much we can improve. The ship was built in 1955 and the standards were different... More

This floating restaurant, looks lonely in the habour by its self, hundreds of people walk past, not sure why they are missing a good meal. Think one reviewer said that had a meal when, doing a stop over, this is a good idea if you waiting for the ferry. However in some ways I'm pleased there was not a queue... More

The food was warmed up and amount of food was terrible, despite of hight prise. We had 15 person international group. I booked and paid also something forward. Actually, it was embarrasing, amount of food and kvality. Food cost was 30 EUR per person, plus pretty expencive drinks.

We visited Tallinn as a day excursion from Helsinki. It happened to be a Baltic-cold April day and after five or so hours taking in the key sightseeing venues we were pretty tired and extremely cold. As we got close to the ferry for our return sailing we spotted the Admiral about five minutes walk from the Ferry a Terminal.... More

My wife and I have been in Tallinn for several weeks and were looking for something different from the Old City scene. We were delighted with dinner at the Admiral, docked just outside the city walls and either walking distance or an inexpensive cab ride from just about anywhere. Now, for full transparency, for most of the dinner we were... More

This is one of the worst restaurants I have been. However I can't review the food because we never got it. Our party of 5 waited for the food for 1h 40mins but it never came. The service was basically nonexistent. The interior was not comfortable nor stylish. The seats were unsteady old folding chairs in the upper deck where... More
