After a tiring day walking around the old town we settled for this restaurant based in a convenient location. The restaurant is ok inside. But the bad part is that they only have one waitress for the whole restaurant and there were at least 8 to 9 table full with 30 people. We had to wait 20 minutes before they... More

What can I say! We placed our order and were then told we had to pay cash as the card machine was broken, no problem. We ordered starters, a garlic naan, a roti, and two main courses plus beer. They did not have many of the beers we tried to order, Kingfisher so we went with Saku, a local beer.... More

I usually don't write any reviews, neither good nor bad. But this time I felt like I need to warn everybody who considers to go to this restaurant, cause personally I would have liked someone to warn me before I went there. I'm a big fan of Indian cuisine and I try to go to Indian restaurants wherever I travel... More

The location is ideal, in the center of the old city. We are picky about our Indian food and found it quite good, if anything might be said, we like our raita a little less thin. However, the lamb kebabs and the vegetable dish were quite good, as was the Kashmiri naan. The value for money was good as well.

We tried 2 veggie dishes and one of us ordered the Chicken Tikka. All of it was hot, tasty and well prepared. A welcome, warm respite from the cold, pelting rain outside. Service was a little indifferent, but we were there relatively late for lunch and maybe they just wanted to read or take a break? In that weather, I... More

I found myself in Masala accidentally and am very happy about it! Unfortunately I wasn't that hungry, so I didn't finish chicken filet in mango-curry sauce, which was delicious! I started with Tom kha, which made me breathe and feel warm after cold rainy streets. Indian masala tea was also great, not too spicy, not too milky ;) even water... More

We were living in Swissotel and this restaurant is near by so we just walked in. First 10 minutes no one came to serve us. And food took over 30 minutes to get prepared which is actually not any hotel standard. It was too spicy despite our request of not putting too much spice. Worst Indian food I ever had... More

The restaurant is cold and there is no heating except few electric heaters. We ordered Indian bread nan and they were too crispy and cold. Nan broke in my hand before I could put in my mouth. One girl serving the entire restaurant. Washroom stinks and no hand tissues or hand wash. Too expensive and not worth what you pay... More
