Hand-made bread, coupled with foods made from natural, local ingredients is a gastronomic delight. Add the city’s most stunning terrace and it’s soulful. We love simple, soulful food made from the finest, freshest ingredients. We don’t like pretentious food, stuffy service, or overpriced menus. Sometimes you just want a good meal. That’s why we created Leib: a restaurant where two guys crazy for food would want to eat themselves. We’ve both worked years in the restaurant business, and we felt the time was right to open our own place. (It helped our decision that we were offered the city’s best terrace.) We are true “food guys,” and one of us is always in the restaurant.

Me and my girlfriend visited this restaurant on the 14.3.2015 after reading positive recommendations here on Tripadvisor. We came there for dinner. Generally can be said that this restaurant is good located, the interior is cosy and the staff is great, they also make their own beer!:-) When judging the food: my girlfriend had some fish, which was good, tasty,... I had dinner here - it was dark when we arrived so we didn't really see what looks like a very nice outside area. The food was well presented and tasted great. Add to you list of places to eat at in Tallinn.

In the Old Town of Tallinn, this place caters to your taste well. Well-nuanced, natural, body friendly food. If you have special needs, they will be catered for – creatively. In the summer it all pours into the sunny garden – privately walled in, yet unmistakeably medieval – and cosy.

Expectation of one of the top50 restaurants in Estonia were set high. Price/Quality ratio was ok. Next time I want to try the food and beer pairing that they highlight in the menu.

We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. This was one of our great meals of the trip at an excellent price. The restaurant is within the old city, but not in the main area with all of the other tourist restaurants. The ambience was incredibly cosy and warm on a cold winter’s day. There appears to be... We had a fantastic long lunch here with a group of friends. The atmosphere was stylish, service was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was local, well cooked and beautifully presented and well matched with some great beer and wines. Having worked our way through almost all of the small thoughtful menu without a single disappointment, we were pleasantly surprised by... More

We tried to find good or almost a quite normal price restaurant in Old town Tallinn. It was a bit difficult but Leib Resto met with our waitings and feelings very good. It was not so easy to find the whole place, but fortunately they found us their table fast and Flexible. The waitress was young and nice and it... More

Okay, so the title is a little dramatic, but this restaurant is great! They have an unreal craft brew selection (this coming from someone who has recently lived in Washington State, California, and Boulder, Colorado). Who knew that Estonians make some of the tastiest brews in the world. Plus the bar tender definitely knows his stuff about wine, beer, and... More

We went to have a dinner here due to great reviews on Tripadvisor. The place really matched our expectations. Every aspect of this place was great - the service, the food and the beautiful warm atmosphere. Icing on the cake was the amount of different brands of Whisky.
