Description: Hand-made bread, coupled with foods made from natural, local ingredients is a gastronomic delight. Add the city’s most stunning terrace and it’s soulful. We love simple, soulful food made from the finest, freshest ingredients. We don’t like pretentious food, stuffy service, or overpriced menus. Sometimes you just want a good meal. That’s why we created Leib: a restaurant where two guys crazy for food would want to eat themselves. We’ve both worked years in the restaurant business, and we felt the time was right to open our own place. (It helped our decision that we were offered the city’s best terrace.) We are true “food guys,” and one of us is always in the restaurant.

For me this place is overpriced compared to many funkier places with better food and friendlier service. There was nothing wrong with the food but nothing great either. We ate outdoors, it was fun when it was a hot summer night as the place is a peaceful courtyard.

We were celebrating my parent's wedding anniversary here with our family, with children. Service here was excellent, and the food was good and delicious. This restaurant must be a lovely place in summer with a nice terrace in the garden. I will surely return to this place when I am in Tallinn next time. Book a place from the restaurant... More

So we were taken to the restaurant and had children with us. The staff (and children) coped well, even though it was in winter (but the restaurant may be better in summer when customers can enjoy the garden and the Scottish statues). Food was good, wine excellent. Bread - as elsewhere in Tallinn - very good. And the service was... More

Have been here for two times and both have been extremely good visits. First recommendation goes for the staff. Excellent service and best I have felt in Tallinn. Simple and short menu but i quess everything on the list is made with love. Steak is sure choice. Try also recommended wines which are tought for the dishes served. Good location... More

Went here for a quick bite before exploring the city, stayed for the bread (of course) and the house cloudberry liquer. Very friendly staff and above the average lunch (Choices on our list included whole roasted quail, perch and entrecoté). They specialize in local and small producers and also serve a number of products from local microbreweries.

We were actually quite lucky to get a table here as almost every restaurant in Tallinn appeared to be booked solid on a Saturday night. It was only due to the diligence and persistence of the concierge at our hotel - The Telegraaf, who rang over twenty establishments trying to secure us a table, that we ended up here rather... More

It`s fine,it isn‘t bad,but the idea that this is a Leib ma And restaurant with some super is ludicrous. The usual cafe does not loOK like on restaurant. Apparently the chef, and trained in some place fancy. The food is typical Estonian-absolutely boring. It's the same menu as every other Estonian place.I ordered the beer, hoping it would be interesting, but it actually... More

My wife and I visited Leib Resto ja Aed for Thanksgiving weekend (U.S. holiday) in late November. It is located a little off the beaten path on Uus street. It's not a long walk from the center of old town Tallinn, but not a very interesting area other than the restaurant and a few others. But don't let the walk... More

Maybe because expectations were high, this dinner didn't get to top 10 (not event top 50). Food was good, restaurant nice - but price was high as well. Some surprise also for aperitif discussion and non-knowledge of some world known coctails.
