Description: Hand-made bread, coupled with foods made from natural, local ingredients is a gastronomic delight. Add the city’s most stunning terrace and it’s soulful. We love simple, soulful food made from the finest, freshest ingredients. We don’t like pretentious food, stuffy service, or overpriced menus. Sometimes you just want a good meal. That’s why we created Leib: a restaurant where two guys crazy for food would want to eat themselves. We’ve both worked years in the restaurant business, and we felt the time was right to open our own place. (It helped our decision that we were offered the city’s best terrace.) We are true “food guys,” and one of us is always in the restaurant.

There really isn't anything not to love about Leib. The food is seasonal, fresh, simple yet sophisticated. The service is great, not too overbearing.

Does Tallinn have bad restaurant? I've yet to find one. Leib meaning bread. All Tallinn restaurants have a special bread which is made in the restaurant kitchen. Leib's is exceptional. Food again very good pricing is again reasonable especially bearing in mind the quality. This is a beauriful garden restaurant in the summer. We have had some great evenings here... More

I dined here and had a great time with everything I had, from the Estonian Mimosa aperitif, quince and dessert wines to the simple but gourmet food (pumpkin and ginger soup, hake with leek and parsnips, creme brulee with red fruits). This is fine European dining with an Estonian flavour, and it is a very pleasurable experience: lots of waiters,... More

Showed up with no reservation on a busy night and they were able to still accommodate us with no fuss. The food was superb and the atmosphere relaxed yet very beautiful. We were there in the dead of winter but looks like they have a nice sun deck as well which would be incredible when the weather is nice. Definitely... More

I have eaten here twice, and will return. Food quality is exceptional and I love it that the dishes are something completely different from what I would cook at home. Perfect for any occasion, business or leisure, family or friends. Also wines have exceeded my expectations! ...not to mention the desserts. Not overpriced, fantastic value for money. In the summer,... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who often visits Tallinn. There were six of us for dinner and we all enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere is relaxed yet professional. We all had soup for starter and it was simply delicious. The mains (both fish and meat dishes) were great too. Absolutely nothing to complain about the food.... More

We enjoyed a great lunch with a local friend seated outdoors on a gorgeous day in Tallinn. The service was wonderful, the courtyard was pleasant, clean, and had beautiful flowers and plants to enjoy while we soaked up the sun and had a nice meal. The staff was very accommodating, making sure that we liked our table and were happy... More

This was the best place we ate in Tallinn! The food is really nice, the service was excellent, and we got recommended some local beers to go with our food. I'd recommend to book a table in advance - we did, but just the day before, so we got a table quite late, which meant that our three courses came... More

For me this place is overpriced compared to many funkier places with better food and friendlier service. There was nothing wrong with the food but nothing great either. We ate outdoors, it was fun when it was a hot summer night as the place is a peaceful courtyard.

We were celebrating my parent's wedding anniversary here with our family, with children. Service here was excellent, and the food was good and delicious. This restaurant must be a lovely place in summer with a nice terrace in the garden. I will surely return to this place when I am in Tallinn next time. Book a place from the restaurant... More
