Description: Hand-made bread, coupled with foods made from natural, local ingredients is a gastronomic delight. Add the city’s most stunning terrace and it’s soulful. We love simple, soulful food made from the finest, freshest ingredients. We don’t like pretentious food, stuffy service, or overpriced menus. Sometimes you just want a good meal. That’s why we created Leib: a restaurant where two guys crazy for food would want to eat themselves. We’ve both worked years in the restaurant business, and we felt the time was right to open our own place. (It helped our decision that we were offered the city’s best terrace.) We are true “food guys,” and one of us is always in the restaurant.

- not that it's winter yet, but this time the wearher called for indoor dining. My last visit a year ago was in the beautiful garden sending you mentally far south in Europe. The food is consistently of high quality, though quite robust. The staff is friendly, though probably not professionally trained. And the place itself is comfortable and nice.... More

It appears to be a town frequented by european youth for cheap booze and partying. When we visited Tallinn with a friend for a few hours, we had only one shot for a food choice and zeroed in on this place. It was a good decision. Nice garden. Friendly staff. Interesting local beer selection. Most importantly: the food is very... More

Everything works in Leib. Service was friendly and the staff had time to chat and give insight for everything they served. I went with the local micro brewery beer the whole meal and the sommelier knew what he was recommending. At the end I was invited to give my opinion on the americano coffee the staff was testing. Next time... More

Seccond time eating at this restaurant. Not a very large menu, but excellent commodities. Very serviceminded staff who could tell you about the meal, and recommend vine that went perfectly with the dishes. The locations are nice and pleasant.

Delicious dinner in this small restaurant. Everything was perfect, from zucchini soup, to smoked trout with yogurt and vegetables (pink onions), and great desert, red currant marshmallow :-) Service is very professional They also have a menu of beer in accordance to dishes. About 40~50€ per person that evening, totally worth it

It doesn't look like much on the outside, but as soon as you walk around the back and see the garden your breathe will be taken away. It's a good size, seating is available inside or out. I saw on a balcony, with a roof, but no walls, so a combination of both. Like many Estonian restaurants, they serve amazing... More

We ate here and not knowing what to expect. What We ended up with was an amazing dinner and a memorable evening. The food, wine, and ambiance were all outstanding. Service was sublime and charming. Don't speak Estonian? No problem. We were there in winter and they kept a small fire going in the fireplace which only completed the experience.... More

From the food through to the atmosphere, Leib is second to none in every regard. I didn't have a booking but the waiter was gracious enough to accommodate me. All the staff were impeccably pleasant. The food is to be lauded with the highest praise. I had the fish roe salad and Estonian beef filet, with crême brûlée and a... More

We booked dinner here on rainy September night, excited to try "nouvelle Estonian." I think that's an apt description. The menu adapts and re-invents local dishes and ingredients to delicious effect. The wine list was impressive and the wine by the glass list well curated and well explained by the server. I had a local farm raised quail with mashed... More
