Description: A warm and cosy contemporary Asian-style decor: high vaulted ceiling, large windows, decoratively revealed fragments of brickwork, laconic dark wood tables (the larger ones,of course, equipped with a revolving central part) sans tablecloths, a stylised stupa andsakura branches on one side of the room. Authentic chairs (imported from China),impressive Zen-style loos built in antique medieval vaults. The central niche with its twored and gold-painted trees is reminiscent of the splendid landscapes in Hero, the fi lm bythe Chinese director Zhang Yimou. This was a second time we visited this restaurant, last visit was a year ago. We did not get disappointed, the food was as good as last time and also our children (10 and 14) really enjoyed. If you stay more than 1 evening in Tallinn, can recommend this restaurant for the second evening, to enjoy something different and tasty.... More

My husband and I had thought about visiting Chedi every time we were in Tallinn and we finally did it a few days ago. But probably because of all the reviews and the fact that the restaurant is often fullbooked we had quite high expectations and got very disappointed that the food and service were not as good as we... The staff were quietly efficient and the food was very tasty, if somewhat unusual. Portions were a very good size. A restaurant to talk about and try but I am not sure whether I will return, especially as it was quite expensive

It's in the centre of the Old Town and is a very smart and attractive restaurant. Looking at the other guests, it's not for your average local. A meal for two easily costs about €150. The food itself is good, but nothing spectacular either. People who've eaten south-eastern Asian food around the world will be satisfied, and will enjoy some... More

Definitely one of the best restaurants in its field in baltic countries I've come across with. Wide range of different choices to build your meal, reasonable prices (expensive in Tallinn-scale but otherwise not so) and very friendly staff make this place definitely worth visiting. The wine list is extensive and moderately priced and the staff will help you choose the... More

Our 2nd time dining at Chedi in Tallinn made us even more convinced that this restaurant really is worth visiting - wide choise of starters e,g, dim sums, the mains seasonally incl. duck-courses . Guests mainly of younger people but very cultivated. We recommend!

For a long time we have walked by Chedi and thought that maybe next time. Dim sum´s were good, but portion was small :( Our mains were just average - the food which you can get basically anywhere and here if you compare the food vs. price - these don´t meet. The interior of the restaurant is really nice, service... More

Like many restaurants in the Old Town, this establishment does not advertise its name strongly outside. On going into this Asian restaurant you will notice the smart and lovely decor. The service was very good and the food was also top. Our Dim Sum platter starter was really delicious. I will go again.

Chedi has not only hit No 1 restaurant in Tallinn for me, but is the best Asian food I've eaten outside Asia as well. It's perfection from start to end. Decor, ambient, service, location and of course food. Whatever dish you order, it will be delicious. We've tried mushroom dim-sum, squid tempura and soft-shell crab for starters. The crab was...
