Excellent for satisfying your pancake craving

Service was distinctly slow but the pancakes were worth waiting for. It was a bit of a shame that we did not have a view of outside as there was no outdoor seating in this beautiful, atmospheric city, and the interior was not particularly stylish, but the pancakes were great.

Kompressor proclaims to be 'the legendary pancake house', a bold statement I'm sure but one I can't and many other visitors and locals alike can't argue with. Very few restaurants and cafes have had the quality to make me go back on consecutive days. The service is excellent, you order at the bar and are greeted with a smile and... More

A good place for breakfast (if you want to wait until 11:00 AM!). The Estonian pancakes are well made. One can have savory pancakes as well as sweet. The portions are large and can be easily shared. We had ones with mushrooms and salmon with cheese sauce. We could not finish. We wanted to try the sweet ones, particularly with... More

Family of three left stuffed and happy for 12 euros, and that included a shot of tallinn's unique liqueur - vanna Tallinn -for dad! We had the bacon and smoked cheese pancake and the strawberries, whipping cream, and cream cheese pancake. All three of us left happy and full. Very recommended.

This was the first time after 2 years that I visited this place. What I remember from the past was REALLY bad service and long waiting time but also the most trustworthy and filling pancakes that you could find in Tallinn. So when I returned, I was really surprised because the service was polite and friendly. Since we got our... More

It's easy to miss this gem of a place if you don't know it's there. The façade is plain and doesn't really scream restaurant. The inside is spacious, but the tables are round and extremely inefficient for the amount of people wanting to eat - you can often see people leave due to lacking sitting places. If it is a... More

We wandered around old town long at the amazing sights and after a lot of sight seeing decided we needed to stop for s drink. After the waitress at the beer place walked away from us we kept walking and found this legendary pancake house. My daughter had been craving pancakes for over a week so we stopped in. Advise... The dining area is in a big room which was surprisingly not so warm even though it was hot outside. I waited my pancake for a long time, but it was definitely worth it. It was huge and full of feta cheese and smoked chicken. The meal included also a sauce for it. The whole meal was excellent for the... More

Super nice place to refresh yourself. Compination like Seljanka soup (3e) + sweet and "huge" pancake (4,5e) + ice tee (1,5e) After this the whole day is just better. Seljanka is the soup to eat here. Who would've know that so many weird ingredients taste so good together. All pancakes are huge no matter if you take sweet or savoury.... More
