Description: The main idea for Sushi Cat is not to offer exclusive snack just for some...
The main idea for Sushi Cat is not to offer exclusive snack just for some, but a good and healthy filling food for everybody. On top of the good inexpensive sushi, we’d like to offer our clients to experience a taste of modern Japanese Manga & Pop culture by creating a different, at the same time welcoming atmosphere. Sushi Cat wants to attract the everyday person as well as those looking for a place to spend their other eight lives, people who can’t get enough of our colourful place, tasty food and funny staff.

Good sushi, crazy atmosphere

Small place with very good sushi and cheap prices. However, the atmosphere is...special. The whole place is pink, the waitresses wear cat-ears and there's a big TV constantly playing J-pop and anime music of the crazy and hyperactive style. If you can stomach this, it's worth checking out.

Great sushi near freedom square in Tallinn. Been here many times and sushi has always been great. Manga style interior, quick service and price to quality is good.

I had take-away from this restaurant and was pleased with both the quality of the sushi and the woman working was really helpful and kind. I think that if you like sushi and are down for some weird music and women dressed up as anime characters, you should try it out!

Small place but very cosy... in japan style. Reasonable prices, enough big rolls/portion. Non-stop asian music videos, waiting time ca15-20 minutes. Very popular, turn over is big and quick which is important for sushi (due to raw materials). Not far away from city centre...

Prices are very good for sushi. However, they specialize in take-out more so than dining in. Dining experience was less than ideal. Not exactly fast either. Will not dine-in there again, but may use it as a take-out option. The video bar playing gets annoying after 15 minutes.

It's a small restaurant and it seems like most of their business is take out but there is a small seating area as well. We have now eaten there twice with kids and the children really enjoy the Japanese anime theme. The staff is happy and cute in their cat outfits. The value for money is very good. The menu... More

Atmosphere is lovely and fun. I like the fact that you can see the actual making of the sushi. the ingredients tasted good and were fresh. They even have authentic japanese beers and also other fun quirky beverages. it is pretty cheap too, really worth the money. The service could be better and more attentive.I had a long wait (50 min.)... More

Sushi dishes are delicious and well presented. Most of all this place offers experience, almost an epiphany.

Let me start with the only single comment "against" the place - there is no tempura maki in the menu. Maybe it's because Japanese people don't cook sushis in tempura-style - then it makes sense since the place feel Japanese all over. However, I would like to get some not-that-typical Japanese food since I simply love tempura makis. And I'm... More

Sushi Cat used to be my favorite sushi place that i visited each time i was in Tallinn. But last few times it has become below average place where rice is very dry and hard to eat. Basically might as well buy sushi from a store where it has been sitting for a day or two. Service is great. And... More
