Most of the restaurants in Tallinn serve the usual tourist mush - pizza, pasta and bad steaks. This place is a few steps ahead of the others, with rabbit, duck and some very interesting fish dishes. I had the rabbit marinated in cider, and loved it. I also had a lingonberry parfair with caremallised rye bread - excellent again!

We choose this restaurant much by chance on our first night in Tallinn. Since weather was coolish, we ate inside. The room is attractive. We had a window table so we could still enjoy the comings and goings in the Town Hall square. We really enjoyed our meal to the point that we felt no need to try another restaurant... More

Usually avoiding restaurants in obvious tourist spots, we initially dismissed this restaurant because it is situated on the main square in the old town. However tempted by the menu we decided to give it a go. Other reviewers have described this as touristy, which I would disagree with. The food is a modern twist on good quality Estonian cuisine and... More

Nice terrace in the square for brunch, lunch or drink - with views over the Raekoja Plats (main old town square).

I really wonder about some of the reviewers on this website. 'Touristic'..? Well, yes it is located on the main square of the old town, so what did you expect? 'Small Portions..?' Well, only if you are used to supersized meals at McDonalds... This place has a nice feel to it. In spring and autumn you can eat inside if... More

Had great expectations but felt a bit let down. We had Grilled Elk on Mushroom noodles. Weird, nice but the Elk was overcooked so a bit tough. Nice atmosphere though.

Nice efficient service. Food is all right but there is enough room for improvement. Good variety of fish and meat dishes. Quality is ok, meat could be cooked a little less, or at least they should ask how the customer prefers it. Great view outside if you are sitting by the window. Red wine was served in nice big glasses... More

This town square restaurant had exceptional quality food at reasonable prices. The location was perfect and the service could not be faulted. We had 3 main courses of rabbit, duck and tagliatelle and drank wine and cider. They were good sized portions but not huge, much to our pleasure. The innovative combination of clearly locally sourced ingredients and perfectly cooked... More

The restaurant positions itself as having modern Estonian food, which is accurate. Everything we tasted was delicious and artfully served. Our waiter was helpful in guiding us to what he thought was best and all his recommendations were very good. There is a good wine list and the ambiance is lovely. In a town that feels overwhelmingly touristic, this elegant... More
