Pretty Good

We had a lovely light lunch at the Cafe Josephine, we sat at the outside seating area which was great to watch the world go by, during my visit to Tallin I gauged restaurants by the price of half litre of beer which ranged from 2.5Euros to 6 Euros, beer here was 4 Euros so its a mid priced... read more

This is an absolutely beautiful restaurant. I definitely lingered over my dinner so I could stay and enjoy the atmosphere. I got one of their baked pasta dishes which I thought was very good. I almost didn't order any dessert, but since the restaurant is associated with Chocolaterie Pierre I thought I needed to try one of their sweets, and... More

Adorable, out of the way, food is delicious and far less expensive then in any other place I ate in Talinn. Costumes on the wait staff were great and they were excellent. All in all a bargain for the money.

Without a doubt the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted. They also had some very nice chocolate cake. All in a beautifully decorated Art Deco cafe.

We didn't want a 'full' menu so chose one of the Baked Pasta dishes and drinks. The house wine was just about drinkable but one glass was sufficient for our palates. Pasta was OK but no more. Young lady serving was very pleasant. Would not return.

Café Josephine was the first place we saw when we were cold and hungry - we could not have asked for a better place for lunch. The décor was quirky but had comfort in mind. The four of us had a mix of sandwiches, salads, soup and pasta (enormous) and they were just what we needed. The cups of tea... More

It is one of the few real cafes in Tallinn which deserve to be called cafè. Very nice and interesting interior, good and cosy atmosphere. They serve very good coffee and have long list of cakes and high quality truffels to offer. Rio rio is excellent if you like spicey. Location is on Vene street some steps away from the... More

If you are art deco lover this is the place to be in Tallinn. Nice little cafe. Only down side is the service. ..We had to ask for everything...only thing a plus for the young cook....who seems to work as a waitress as well.

Beautiful place with a remarkable interior serving fantastic chocolates, cakes and pastries. It's just so different from the usual tourist spots.
