The food at Restaurant Villa Thai is cooked under the watchful eye of its Nepalese chef Bhandari Parshurami, who has studied the art of cooking Indian and Thai food in a culinary school in Delhi and worked in 4-star restaurants in Delhi. We have toned down the spiciness of Thai and Indian food to make it more suitable for the Nordic palate. Those who wish to experience the full heat of this cuisine can add some spices themselves.

Asian-Estonian taste

This is a relatively quiet and convenient place, has a lunch menu at a reasonable price and ingredients are always fresh. Portions (and tea) are shrinking (compared to when I started going there) and it's the most "Estonian" Indian cuisine (low in salt, low in spices, do not trust the peppers on... read more

We were lucky to have inside information on how great this restaurant is. It is a good mix of Thai/Indian, the staff very accommodating and knowledgable. The food was beautifully cooked, tasted wonderful and nicely presented. We ordered a few different plates as we were all sharing, we were thoroughly impressed with our meal. Can't wait to return.

Went specially to this place to try Tom Yam soup in Tallinn. Well, if you have been to Thailand and tried Tom Yam there, then this interpretation of the great dish will make you sad. Additionally we had to wait for eternity for somebody to take the order and then to bring a bill. The place itself is nice. It... More

lovely place, good music, but terrible food. I was really surprised that chicken was extra dry and wasn't marinate before cooking. This is not real Indian/ Thai food - this is a parody

I have been there many times in different occasions. Great place for either a birthday or for just eating out with a friend/family. The food is very good- both, meat and vegetarian food. The staff is really friendly and polite. Service is fast enough. It is located about 10-15 minutes on foot from the city center.

I used to think this was the best Thai place in Tallinn. We used to eat there multiple times a week. I absolutely loved the kai kati but sometime in the middle of 2014 the flavor and spicy level dropped. They also got rid of the childrens room which was kind of disappointing. They offer delivery which is nice and... More

Good choice if you fancy Thai food. Taisty food and affordable prices. They also have Indian food . Nice oriental atmosphere and pleasant background music. Separate room is available for private parties for abot 15 persons. There is also small playground with toys for children.
