The food at Restaurant Villa Thai is cooked under the watchful eye of its Nepalese chef Bhandari Parshurami, who has studied the art of cooking Indian and Thai food in a culinary school in Delhi and worked in 4-star restaurants in Delhi. We have toned down the spiciness of Thai and Indian food to make it more suitable for the Nordic palate. Those who wish to experience the full heat of this cuisine can add some spices themselves.

Best Asian food in Tallinn

Villa Thai is not a simple take-away, but a restaurant and the prices are also like in a restaurant but still it is the best Asian food in Tallinn. The locals love it.

Villa Thai is a bit hidden gem. It is located strangly downstairs of a aparment house, and from outside, you wouldnt expect to find such a diamond. Once you are in, you are in different world. Interior is very nice and asian. Food is terrific, and you have variety of traditional Thai and Indian dishes. All of them are good,... More

I'm a regular at Villa Thai, eat at the restaurant and take away. The food has been consistantly good over the years, especially like the Vindaloo and Paneer naan! You really can't go wrong with the food there. It could have a lot of people in weekends, so the service could be slow and you have to book.

I've been there several times and though my first experience a year ago was great, it keeps getting worse. There is no passion in the way the food is done. And the service. Wow. I thought we were past those times when waitresses give you an attitude but I guess not. The two last times the girls have been uninterested... More

Villa Thai is our favourite Asian restaurant in Tallinn. They advertise their food as „ mix of Thai and Indian cuisine customised to be more suitable for the nordic taste“. That suits us well. The food is so good. Our favourites are crispy chicken with honey and sesame and spring rolls. We always have these appetizers. We try to have... More

People tend to speak highly of this place so obviously when visiting we had high expectations. And of course the first impressions were great. The place looks very inviting with a nice mix of modern and traditional interior. Also the service was excellent. The waitress was very helpful when choosing dishes. However the food wasn't quite as good as we... More

Well, this restaurant was my favourite Asian restaurant before. But it seems everything is going down there..food quality, service. Very pity actually. I have got cold soup with raw mushrooms, spring rolls were inside also kind raw. No "wow" effect anymore ... I remember, that they had so delicious food before, what has happened? Service so and so with little... More

I ordered a Phad Thai and I was extremely disappointed with it. Either what I had before wasn't Phad Thai (I would doubt so, since I had tried in at least 3 other countries), or they thought glass noodles were original. With much soy sauce it was edible, otherwise didn't taste like anything. I liked the fried ice cream. This... More
