Great restaurant in the old town

This restaurant is very good, they also have an impressive vine cellar. The building is ancient and beautifully restored. The food is always good and you can get the table quite easily, almost always on the same day too.

We chose this restaurant by chance out the numerous restaurants in the old town - lucky we. We had one elk and one veal carpaccio which just melted in our mouths. For the main courses we took lamb carre and inner beef of elk that were excellent as well. As a surprise the restaurant offered lemon sorbet together with champagne... More

We came here expecting it to be good having been to Rataskaevu16, and Von Krahli AED on previous nights. Although the food was good, it was not hot when served and it was more expensive than the other two restaurants. We were charged 8 Euros for two tiny scones before we ate, which we assumed to be a cover charge,... More

My favorite restaurant. Food is delicious, well balanced tastes and very long and good wine-list. Service is very, very good, I feel like a king when eating there. It is not unusual in Dominic that I forget myself to chatting for few hours. It is so nice place that I don't notice how time passes by.

Had this review been based on food alone, Dominic's would have scored five stars without a doubt. The dishes are definitely on a par with many Michelin starred restaurants and the menu was well balanced and interesting. What lets it down for us, however, was the distinctly chilly reception we encountered which was quite unlike our experience anywhere else we... More

Dominic does not impress with fine furnitures, but if you just want to enjoy the heavenly good food so choose this restaurant. The service is easy and friendly, you can shamelessly ask for advice with wine choices, and even enjoy a good cigar at the end of a good dinner. I chose whitefish carpaccio as an appetizer and quail as... More

Great flavours and wonderful wines served with an friendly, easy-going attitude. Very affordable, too, considering the quality. For anyone looking for place to have a lovely romantic dinner or equally a cosy get together with friends. Perfect location in the middle of the medieval old town. In some evenings live piano music. Exceptionally good variety of cigars and a cosy... More

Stopped by to share last wine for the evening. While browsing the wine list, very positively surprised by the quality and quantity of various wines also in half bottles. Excellent size to be shared opposed to rely on the house wines by the glass. Just by happy accident, witnessed Her Royal Princess of Sweden arriving from her dinner to the... More

Best food, best service, best atmosphere. Really nice small appetizers and the staff is very friendly. Location is nice and the price is not too high for the food you get. The downstairs seating looks really nice.

The dining room is quite elegant and comfortable. The service is courteous and professional. Excellent the bread. Very nice the food (scallops, deer, crème brulée), and so the trou normand (mango sorbet drowned in crémant wine). I drank excellent wines from Luxembourgian Moselle (pinot gris and pinot noir of the Desom Domaine, Remich). Right the prices.
