Excellent food by famous chef

This is a new place of a young, brave and already famous local chef Deivydas Praspaliauskas (I know, it's impossible to say this name for English speaking, but still, you should notice this name). Place is very small, very busy at lunch time (don't go at 12 pm on weekdays when all working bees... read more

Probably all made to look more old than it really is, but nice and friendly. Fair food, tea a bit weak for my taste, but nevertheless I breakfasted there most mornings. Nice to see the same local people from day to day.

In this place you can eat what you want but I've been here for breakfast. They has many many different kinds of desserts. My best are the cakes with varskies. Fantastic. Nice place with a good service. Even for a cup of tea is one of the best.

I cannot blame them for bad food, it was tasty and I would have loved to have a second helping of their salmon&cottage cheece crepes. Too bad that the service was poor and I have had similar crepes with half the price (and smiling waitresses) not too far away from the main tourist streets.

We returned many times during our week in Vilnius - we knew the food was fresh, the service was pretty good and the prices were very reasonable. Its always busy with locals as well as tourists which is a good sign. Lovely fresh salads, big pasta and pie dishes and lovely cakes.

It was Sunday morning and we were walking in Vilnius looking for a place where we could have a breakfast. Everything opens about 10-11 but this wonderful place which is not so big to be noticed was open at 9. We entered there and remained enchanted! The atmosphere was so warm! The choice was so wide and the waitresses were... More

It's a nice cafe in the heart of Vilnius old town. You can find really tasty cakes here and great coffee. We weren't very lucky with the staff, though. But all in all, it's a place to go.

Crepes with salmon and cottage cheese was great! However with bananas and chocolate could be a bit more sweet. But since they use real chocolate - it's sweet enough. Overall it's a great place for weekend breakfast. Take a sit facing the entrance, it's nice to watch people walk by while you're drinking coffee :)

Recommended by a friend of a friend as THE place to go for a coffee in the old town, Pilies Kepyklele did not disappoint. This was a lovely, quaint little cafe behind the University of Vilnius, specialising in crepes and cakes. The food was really very good, as was the coffee and service. And all at a low price. We... Not just a bakery, this busy little place was more of a café / restaurant that is open until late and serves everything from a coffee to a full meal. We had savoury crepes followed by some cakes and both were very good.
