Quiet first floor restaurant in the hotel called 'Sonnets', so easily missed by an outsider (I didn't see a menu posted outside). Beautiful room with loads of memorabilia associated with the English-speaking theatre and literary works. Small but choice menu expertly cooked and presented. One does feel that you own the manor and your staff are there to cater for... More

We tried this restaurant on our first night in Vilnius because it was right downstairs from us in the hotel where we were staying, and because it was pretty highly rated in TripAdvisor, despite being just another "hotel restaurant." Well, it's not just another hotel restaurant; it's a really good restaurant that happens to be in a hotel. The night... More

the food was ok, the place quite pleasant, but not justifying the prices . the wine list showed wines which are not available, which is always irritating. maybe for Vilnius (our first night) it is excellent but in my international ratings this is jut ok

The best choice if you want to combine business with tourism. Even two hours are enough to explore the old town - you live in the heart of old Vilnius. Great cuisine, excellent selection of malt whisky, peace and quiet. My favourite hotel in Vilnius.

If you want consistency, great service, and regional dishes, this is the place for you. Plus the decor could not be more charming. I hope to have a chance to have the fabulous beet soup again!

Nice hotel to stay, but couldn't see why it should be boutique hotel - rooms are little bit boring, like everywhere. The bar/lounge is just amazing. Spent almost every evening there.

I wasn't staying at the hotel but thought I would try the restaurant. I arrived quite early 6pm ish and there was no one in the restaurant so it was suggested I eat in the restaurant/bar which I did. Comfy sofa but difficult to eat a steak (which was nicely cooked). I'm not sure it's somewhere I would come back... More

The restaurant is part of the Shakespeare hotel, named such by the hotel owner because of his love of England and its litterature. It is located in the nice old town of Vilnius, one of the most attractive parts of the city. I have not tried the hotel (I'll try it next time since it looks great) but its restaurant,... More

Beautiful setting, wooden floor, old imperial style, nice music. Excellent service. Food is above average, however I expected more from the kitchen. The fish in the bouillabaisse was not of good quality and spoiled the overall taste of the soup, it should have been thrown away. The rest was just above average. The Masi Bianco they serve by glass is... More
