Good, not impressed

We booked a table at Druskos Namai in advance by e-mail. The restaurant is tiny and easy to miss. Were surprised to see just one more table occupied on that weekend evening. The interior is very simple. We took two sets: one with the focus on meat, another – on fish. Everything was good quality... read more

On rare occasion you partake in a truly superb restaurant experience. The visit is beyond pleasurable from start to finish and when you walk out of the restaurant you want nothing more than to turn back time so that you can taste and smell and drink everything you've just had all over again. Druskos Namai, situated on the outskirts of... More

Short menu with original offers and good prices. Their strong point is the main courses, which include original dishes. The service makes sure you are well attended. My favourites where: Vil Sirloin. As for dessert, Warm croissant pudding. The atmosphere is relaxed, casual. It is adviceable to make a reservation due to its popularity, but it is possible to get... More

It seems that the place has not attracted many fans despite moving from Uzupis into a small eestaurant street. We popped in during a weekend night without a booking and found plenty of space. At the same time, the neigbours were full. Ok, the pricing is higher here. It was a bit strange to find Reserved plates on the empty... More

Very good dishes from the short menu (which is always a good sign). You can get rare dishes, at the same classics with wonderful service. One of the hidden gems in Vilnius just close to everything at the heart of old town.

After hearing so much good reviews of Druskos Namai, when they were still located in Užupis, went there for a dinner in a new location. Nice location, small but cozy dining space, very friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately the food was much less than average. Two main courses - none of which could be refered to as good and tasty,... More

The place's got around six tables and a very limited menu. But that's because only the finest dishes are cooked there. Cucumber water is served while you're looking into the menu. I wasn't quite prepared to try beef cheeks and wasn't in the mood for fish. That didn't leave us much alternative and we went for a lombatello steak. Well,... More

I was already afraid we would not be able to find good service (in the sense of friendly) in Vilnius. And finally on our last day we found it in Druskos Namai. That night there was only a three course set menu available, which we were informed about when we made the reservation. I asked if the menu contained any... More

My sisters and I went together to this restaurant in order to celebrate their last day of visit. There was only a set menu as we were told while reservating. However, we mentioned that my sister cannot eat any kinds of nuts. Entering the restaurants the very charming waiter asked again about the allergy and pointed out that the meals... More

It was a nice idea -- 70 litas (approx. $25) bought you a set three-course meal at one of the fine restaurants around Vilnius as part of "gastronomical week." It was a chance to eat and imbibe where you normally wouldn't go because of the price. Well, the portion of rare venison meat that came on the plate was so... More
