A gem of a place!

We went into Mykolo 4 on a freezing January Sunday evening. The welcome was as warm as the temperature in the restaurant (everywhere in Vilnius seems to be hot indoors). The food was great, (the apple & celery soup followed by trout with lentils were very tasty) the service was fine. My wife and I were both very happy with... More

A small family-run restaurant. Very friendly service, great food, rather moderate prices. Perfect location. A reservation is advised.

Firstly this is a beautiful looking restaurant. I loved the old fashioned cosy decor. We arrived quite late without a reservation and did not bother having starters. My husband had the steak which he thought delicious. I had the pork which unfortunately was a bit dry. When the waitress cleared my almost full plate she offered me dessert on the... More

If you are tired of fat with pork, fat with potatoes, fat sausages and pure fat, this restaurant is perfect. The chef takes traditional Lithuanian recipes and gives them a modern twist, low on fat, high on creativity. Example: the cliché lemon with the salmon is replaced by super-thin slices of Granny Smith. The result is surprising, while you don't... More

the restaurant inside has an old-world look. each table has a different set of chairs. we dined outside because it was a lovely summer evening. service was well-paced and attentive. presentation was artful. we had a French Syrah that was served at the right temperature. the dishes listed below were tasty especially the salad and dumplings.

Their hours are listed as being 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. My husband and I were very confused as to why we were turned away and told their kitchen was closed at 9:15 p.m. Perhaps the staff wasn't informed as to the closing time?

Located very close to the main street in Vilnius, this restaurant is actually quite small but nicely decorated. The service is good but sometimes slow (the waitresses are often overwhelmed when many tables have to be tended simultaneously). However, I appreciated that the waitress spent some time giving information on each meal and talking with the clients. The food is... More
