Description: Our restaurant is located in small and quiet Sv Mykolo (St. Michael) street in the old town of Vilnius. Restaurant‘s name Holy Mikos is honoured by Archangel St Michael, people protectors, name. This is small and family run restaurant. When you enter the restaurant, the oldtown feel is continued with elegant decoration and antique furnishings. Our passion and desire is to continually create dishes which reference Lithuanian‘s culinary traditions and at the same time which are rich of inventive modern touches. We are proud of our service, which is friendly and attentive. I believe that our restaurant is a great local restaurant, located in heart of Vilnius oldtown, which just happens to serve some of the best Lithuanian food in the capital.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Mikos. We walked to Balzac the next night to find it was closed for the month of August, so we just headed back over to Mikos. Our first dinner was on the outdoor patio. The starters and main were well prepared - beet carpaccio salad, then on to the seared fresh halibut and... More

The restaurant is unique and authentic at the same time. The music is muted, the walls are made of stone, with the imprint of time. The menu is offers a nice fusion of delicious dishes. Customer care is very high and the restaurant has a great atmosphere.

I loved everything about this place, from the quirky furniture and decor to the unsophisticated service and the really excellent food. Mostly Lithuanian and East European dishes, but nothing a westerner couldn't enjoy. Very good wine list. And good value for the quality. Not a big restaurant so book if you are going at a popular time.

We decided to try Holy Mikos on our last night in Lithuania, and in Europe on this trip, because of its excellent TripAdvisor review. In this case, the restaurant definitely merited the good review. The location is very nice; down a narrow side street off Pilies Street, the main Old Town drag in Vilnius, and ultra-convenient to our hotel, the... More

The restaurant's rating and its advertising drew us to the door, but for some reason it was almost deserted when we ate there around 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday. We thought this strange because competing establishments on Pilies Street were jammed. Our young server was a one-woman show and although she was diligent and pleasant, our group of five was... More

We are in Vilnius for 3 days and our hotel recommended this cozy delicious restaurant. We came late, but the restaurant was gracious to make the 2 courses for us. The food is portioned just right, it is important leaving the restaurant with the delicious taste still in your palate! Our beef, herring tartars and cured halibut were excellent! Other... More

Four of us went to Holy Mikos and we had a great meal with wonderful house wine. It is located down a small side street in a very quaint building. The server was great, very attentive and helped us with our choices - duck confit was excellent. The food was beautifully prepared. I liked that the menu was small -... More

Our group of four all enjoyed delicious meals; this restaurant is worth the effort to find it on a quiet street in the old city. The menu is not extensive, but featured a few Lithuanian dishes done very well. The food is hearty and robust, both in quantity and complexity of flavours. The wine list featured a good array of... My husband and I really like Holy Mikos, fabulous food. One thing worth noting - if you are traveling with a large party, including some with special dietary needs, the staff is more than willing to be accommodating. Takes the pressure off those of us who will eat anything on the menu!
