Narrow Stikliu street in the old town of Vilnius began it‘s history in XVth century, when merchants and craftsmen, invited by Lithuanian Grand Dukes, here started their businesses - shops, workshops and taverns. The building, where currently restaurant “Lokys” is situated, was build in the end of XVth century for one of the merchants both for living and trading purposes.Over centuries, gothic cellars changed their owners for couple of times. Here have been shops, taverns and beerhouses, until 1972, when it was restored and hunters’ restaurant “Lokys” housed here.

Ate here twice whilst in Vilnius as the food was that good. The girl serving us was excellent very helpful and friendly with really good English. I would recommend the veal carpacccio to start followed by the wild boar both of which were excellent. The traditional mead as well as the spiced Lithuanian wine were both also excellent. Other food... More

Discovered this restaurant while on a choir trip - the food was absolutely astonishingly good and at the very last minute they were able to accommodate a group of 30 people! Friendly staff, marvellous food, lovely courtyard area, even allowed us to sing a little. Will seek this restaurant out when I go back to Vilnius. Divine.

We attended with a group of 7 booked about 30 minutes earlier and had a table ready for us. The waitress was extremely polite and efficient and provided us menus in the various languages needed. The meat menu was very tasty with some 'exotics' such as beaver! Overall a very relaxed and friendly spot for meat lovers.

To be fair, we only had 3 meals, but this was by far the best. Excellent fillet of beef. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Could only be improved by a better choice of Lithuanian beer, but they did at least have some.

I loved this place! The interiors and a narrow staircase make you feel the medieval spirit)) The food is absolutely delicious! A big choice of original meat and poultry dishes. The desserts are tasty, too. It's a real restaurant with linen napkins and tablecloths and with high-level service. A perfect place to spend an evening in the centre of Vilnius.

Me and my boyfriend visited here a couple of days ago whilst on a trip to Vilnius. We loved this place... the food was delicious, i had the rustoc beaver stew, which was amazing followed by the hot chocolate sauce with ice cream and nuts, sounds so simple but was so delicious. I can't rate this place enough. We loved... More
