Narrow Stikliu street in the old town of Vilnius began it‘s history in XVth century, when merchants and craftsmen, invited by Lithuanian Grand Dukes, here started their businesses - shops, workshops and taverns. The building, where currently restaurant “Lokys” is situated, was build in the end of XVth century for one of the merchants both for living and trading purposes.Over centuries, gothic cellars changed their owners for couple of times. Here have been shops, taverns and beerhouses, until 1972, when it was restored and hunters’ restaurant “Lokys” housed here.

We decided to visit Lokys after reading eviews on trip Advisor and we are pleased we did. The place its self is steeped in history and you do really feel that in the surroundings. We were seated in the 'Swedish Room' and our lovely waitres could not have been more helpful. I had the Goats cheese salad with beetroot crisps... More

Absolute excellence! Not only was the food fantastic, but the atmosphere was also! The upper dining room is pretty normal, but upscale, and the downstairs is through a tiny spiral staircase into an elegant dungeon. And with menu titles such as "Rustic Beaver" and "Quail, Beloved by Charming Lithuanian Ladies"...you can't go wrong! (I had the beaver, it was great.)... More

Great food, great service and excellent value for money. We were a party of 12 people and there were no waits, all meals were served together and all cooked perfectly.

A very warm velcime was given us upon arrival at Lokys this Saturday evening. After a very efficient round of ordering drinks and food, we waited in exitement. Not long after ordering, the food started coming, and my colleagues and I ate in awe of this exellent food. We decided to order some desserts, and they tasted as delicately as... More

We were seated downstairs. Being a happy group of 8 this was suitable. If we were one pair I would suggest ground floor. Very good food quality and correct service.
