Narrow Stikliu street in the old town of Vilnius began it‘s history in XVth century, when merchants and craftsmen, invited by Lithuanian Grand Dukes, here started their businesses - shops, workshops and taverns. The building, where currently restaurant “Lokys” is situated, was build in the end of XVth century for one of the merchants both for living and trading purposes.Over centuries, gothic cellars changed their owners for couple of times. Here have been shops, taverns and beerhouses, until 1972, when it was restored and hunters’ restaurant “Lokys” housed here.

I loved this place! The interiors and a narrow staircase make you feel the medieval spirit)) The food is absolutely delicious! A big choice of original meat and poultry dishes. The desserts are tasty, too. It's a real restaurant with linen napkins and tablecloths and with high-level service. A perfect place to spend an evening in the centre of Vilnius.

Me and my boyfriend visited here a couple of days ago whilst on a trip to Vilnius. We loved this place... the food was delicious, i had the rustoc beaver stew, which was amazing followed by the hot chocolate sauce with ice cream and nuts, sounds so simple but was so delicious. I can't rate this place enough. We loved... More

The menu is very limited but what we chose was excellent, perfect fillet steak with sauce. No children's menu but nevertheless made to feel welcome. Service was pleasant and the wine we were served was very good indeed. Loved the local decor and atmosphere, real feeling of authenticity. Menu is regailed with tales of mediaeval hunting and banquets to add... More

Very nice decor and with linen, tableware etc to be expected of e very established restaurant. The waitress was very helpful and attentive, but it could not fully compensate for the lack of meal excitement, considering ordering exotic boar. The meat was dry and tasteless, the brown sauce even more. A totally bland and colorless experience without the slightest hint... More

This was a nice experience with many tastefull starters and a decent main course. The staff was nice and aware and the room we sat in (basement) was excellent. Can reccommend a trip here.

Big variety of meats including wild boar, for example. Quite big portions, but everything very delicious. Medieval interior, very cozy feeling in there.

Lokys is a beautiful medieval style restaurant in the heart of Vilnius. Ask for a seat in the cellar and after descending a narrow staircase you'll find yourself in a beautiful basement made in brickwalls, with old fashioned wooden furniture. A boar head (can't say if it's a real boar or not) is affixed on one of the walls. One... More

I was here many times and i can assure than you never regret if you order meat here. Fish and desserts are not very good, but the meat is just perfect. You will be surprised.
