Small, family-like restaurant with a good chef

Located outside tourist area (15min taxi drive from city center), but definitely one of the best Italian experiences in town. We went for a full 3 course menu and left satisfied.

I have come to antica toscana on one sunday gloomy winter afternooon for a coffea with friend. In the end I tried also pasta dish (chosen based on recommandation from the waiter). Ravioli (not sure about the name) stuffed with ricotta, spinach and sage sprinkled with yumee parmesan - I was really happy with the choice! I can recommend it!... More

We have been quite often in Antica Toscana, because we have been dog owners for a long time and we liked to take our dog with us everywhere. But also now without a dog we love to go there from time to time. In summer you can sit outside in the garden and go to the lake nearby for a... More

We were told this is the best Italian restaurant in Slovakia and we were not disappointed. This was definitely the best meal we have had so far in Slovakia. The homemade pasta was so delicious and the desserts were superb. The portions were very large, especially for the cost, so the overall bill was very reasonable for the amount of... More

I just hope they dont do it on purpose to demonstrate Italian sans-souci ;) There was a time when I considered this restaurant too expensive but prices in Bratislava has star rocketed and... More

PROs: 1, Good pasta with fine, mild taste, exactly what we were looking for at that day. Homemade pasta is great. 2, Good mushroom soup. 3, Friendly staff. 4, Plenty of parmesan for "free". 5, The local Old Yeller. ;-) CONs: 1, Waited cca 10 minutes for the staff to notice us. The restaurant was by far not full. 2,... More

I was going there very often. They use foodstuff from the local producers and I always felt like a part of the family with mother in the kitchen. I hope it's still like that.
