USDA Prime steaks? with a good service

We had a business dinner in there. Staff very good with some small hickups. Starter (Foie gras) good but not amazing. Steak was medium well instead of medium. Served on a almost cool plate. The declared USDA Prime quality looks and tastes differently.

We wanted to find a good steak place and found this place. The steak is expensive but worth it. The service was really good. I had the Argentinian filet steak. It was good perfect for me. They have a pretty good wine list. The one we had was great. If you enjoy steak this is great place to go but... More

I found the quality of the meat less than I expected. It was good but not terrific. I ordered my meat rare, but it was medium. Since we where a group I did not make a fuss about this. Overall the starters were good, the selection of wine was impressing, the service OK. According to the price for the meal... More

Went for a business dinner with some colleagues while in Bratislava and we found El Gaucho to be in a convenient location on the square by the bridge that takes you over the river. The restaurant is stylish, the service is old school and excellent while not intrusive. The food was served promptly and it was simply fantastic quality. We... More

One of my best friends suggested to visit this restaurant for small Bday dinner, because according to her they have the best steaks in town and I think she was right. I can not remember the name of the steak we had, but we decided to have it medium well and they were really scrumptious. However service was little bit... More

While not the cheapest place to eat in Bratislava you will not be disappointed. Great steaks and service and the cost is much cheaper than similar meals in other European capitals.

We spotted the lunch menu on the board outside- great choice and great price. Their lunch runs until 5pm so after a whip around the sites in town we headed back for a taste. We were surprised to be the only customers. The atmosphere is great, it's is non-smoking and the choice in food and wine is excellent. I am... More
