Eat and drink in Slovak style

Once you visit Bratislava it's a good experience to stop by at one of these local pubs. You can find them in more locations in Old Town surroundings.

Having just arrived our priority was some quick sustenance before a wander through the old town. This fit the bill really well we had the garlic soup (served in a cob of bread) and a sharing platter of dumplings among other things. I stuck to beer my friend had some form of rocket fuel in a shot glass. And the... More

It is a perfect place for trying some traditional slovak food. And it was also cheap and restaurant has a traditional and lovely soul. You should go there.

I wanted to ask some questions about the food - don't even try. Next time we had reservation with my friends when we came , waiter told us that they cancelled our reservation... More

We ordered 2 goulash soups and one was a smaller portion. Staff didn't speak english and couldn't explain menu choices. Goulash was average, the one prepared home is much better and with less fat. Beer is ok, but still, this is Bratislava so beer is good everywhere.
