We went here after a couple of people recommended it and it was great, big portions, traditional food, and good value for money. My favourite thing about Slovak Pub is that in a country where a lot of the food is very meaty, they were happy to make dishes vegetarian by substituting with cheese. The big beers were fun too.

I have been to this place with a couple of friends. It was crowded that day but not completly full. Still we had to wait more than an hour for our starters and another half an hour for main dishes. Quality was ok, but nothing special and for some even cold already. There is another restaurant with similar dishes around... More

We went to Slovak Pub on recommendation from our host in Bratislava. It was inexpensive, the atmosphere was quite neat, the food was good and very filling. The garlic soup served in a bread bowl was amazing. We also ordered a sampler of the halusky, and they were very good, especially the cabbage variety. Our waitress was none too friendly,... More

If you enter to the Slovak pub, you transfer to the age, when lived in Slovakia the sheperds in theyr own wooden houses called Koliba. It is really well situated, great slovak traditional restaurant, with lot of space. The capacyty is about 300 people. It is located on Obchodna street, next to the old town. he prices are very very... More

In this pub, you can find cheap and tasty traditional foods. Also, waiters are very kind and helpful.

I cannot count the number of times that we've been to the Slovak Pub. We go there every time we're in Slovakia, and we try to go as often as possible (if not there, then to the nearby Flagship Restaurant) as the food is delicious, it is always plentiful and the prices are unbeatable. The halusky in particular are a... More

I am a big fan of authentic Slovak cuisine. This place was looking cool. Service was horrible. There was 1 waiter for 40 people. It was 2 of us.We where waiting for our food about 40 minutes. It is hard to say something about the food. I got 2 spoons of the worst drzkova soup of my life. I am... More

Without going into details, I can recommend the place because of 3 reasons: * Very very good food (taste, quality) * Very reasonable pricing (I'd say cheap) * Great venue - rustic, cozy atmosphere I had the mushroom in a loaf of bread soup (loved it!) is similar to this same soup found in Poland or other places in east... This place used to be great years ago when they opened, but it's just getting worse and worse. I think it is due to their personnel. We wanted to eat there, but after we have selected, we were told that the kitchen is closing. The only thing still available were "halusky", which would be fine by me, but my bf... More
