We were on the road towards Prague and decided to take a break in Bratislava for a few hours, to have a little tour around the old town and lunch around there. Luckily I thought to check tripadvisor reviews and found this place, as I was looking for a restaurant more likely to have in the menu some local specialties... More

I have to say although this place has some flaws, I like to come here, and when I have some foreign visitors, I usually take them here to try out some food in a nice historical interior which gives it a nice atmosphere. If it's about the food, mostly I had a very good experience and it was very delicious!... More

Went by myself, just wanted a basic meal, Hostel sent me over, said the food was delicious and the prices were ideal. Started with horseradish-apple salad, with the smoked trout, Was perfectly balanced, unexpected and delicious, it's what good food is all about. For my main I had the special, venison stew, It was a hearty portion and well seasoned,... More

I ate here twice during a short stay and enjoyed both meals. It's off a small side street, so without TripAdvisor I probably wouldn't have come across it, which would have been a loss. The first night I had beef paprika in a pancake with salad--very impressed. Nicely bold flavor, with the meat and sauce wrapped inside the pancake. The... More

Hidden in the old tow of Bratislava, Prasna Bast was a great surprise. When you open the main door you will see a great atmosphere in small place and great dishes. Try the "Bryndzové halusky" an goat chesse gnocchi very local; traditional and tasty! The prices are great and you will spend less de EUR$ 40 for a complete banquet... More

Lovely restaurant with pleasant food. However I didn't feel it was exceptional unlike other reviews. Wouldn't recommend it yet i would stay keep clear!? A pretty neutral feeling about it.

My Bratislava odyssey continues. I knew this place before so I took my friends there. The highlight is gratined snails so I knew what to expect. But this place surprised me again! The waitress, she was so nice and friendly that all of us fell in love immediately. She knew their wine list very well and she recommended us really... More

This is a restaurant were you can eat traditional food and drink slovak wine in the old city centre. Prices are not really high and the service is great.

Found this place when looking for the wine bar opposite this restaurant and figured I first had to eat something. Typical Bratislava style interior/setting (cellar style curved ceiling, cozy, small tables). Service was good, waiter was attentive and recommended local food. The place is good enough, but not special. Food was ok, but not great, overall taste was a bit... More
