Prasna Basta

Delicious meal, very reasonably priced (€35 for two mains, bottle of wine and a shared Hungarian cake), lovely atmosphere and setting. Would definitely go back!

Yesterday I wanted to take my friends from Thailand to this restaurant. A waiter was veru rude. When we headed to the terrace he asked us if we were deaf because he called on us from behind the bar three times... I felt terrible in front of my friends. Customer service generally in Bratislava is not at high level, but... More

The turkey-spinachi-risotto was one of the best Italian meals I have ever eaten. We had also for ex. the Slovakian speciality gnocchis with sheep cheese and bacon -> as excpected, just like it is supposed to taste. The garden rounded by old buildings and the cave in the middle has a lovely, lively but at the same time relaxing atmosphere.... More

It is worth taking the trouble to find this restaurant. It is frequented by locals and even though it is located in the old town it is down a side street and not on the tourist trail. We came here for dinner. The menu is available in English and has an amazing selection which will suit everyone ; soup for... More

Visited Prasna Basta on 1st of July by recommendation from a colleague. Recommendation was true. Pork medallions were as delicious as we were told. Definitely worth a visit

We had our 2nd meal here in two days - guided by the reviews on TripAdvisor, and not disappointed. The cool and relaxed courtyard was a marked contrast to the noise and hustle of the tourist thoroughfare adjacent. The service was genuinely welcoming. On the second visit we opted for the local specialities - the veal in porcini mushroom cream... More

Food standard and service was good but nothing to rave about. We had the venison stew and broth for starter. Both dishes perfectly acceptable. Nice patio seating area

Some friends recommended we try Prasna Basta after they dined there, and I'm glad we did. We dined on the back patio area, which is quite nice, and the food was excellent. Additionally, a jazz trio was performing that evening, and after we returned from our own performance at the Franciscan Church next door, we enjoyed the final numbers of... More
