For a start I would ignore the earlier review about communist buildings as there are a lot of those around here and this place looked great to us! Busy is always a good sign and this place was packed so in we went and boy is this place a class act. Great food and wonderful service to boot. Shame we... More

Don’t be put-off by the inconspicuous entrance in the restaurant situated at the ground floor of a Communist style bloc of flats and go in to enjoy an abundance of traditional regional food from the Hungarian, Austrian and Transylvanian cuisine. The staff is friendly, prompt and speak/understand English. We’ve been there twice in June/July 2014 and once in Dec 2014... More

We really liked the food, and the service is very nice. the atmosphere is also lovely. The portions are pretty big so thats another plus. I personally recommend the goulash and the chicken in crispy coating.

The food was delicious. She had lamb and I had goulash with spatzel. We each had a plate of pickled peppers, green tomatoes, and watermelon. All washed down with excellent Hungarian wine. The price was extremely reasonable. Service was fast as was seating and they were moderately busy. Even though our server spoke English, I think ordering would not be... More

It is in the center of the city and it is amazing. The serving was excellent, the waiter spoke English, the food took a relatively short time to be made and it was delicious!

Lovely place to try out the tastes of Hungary. Have a family plater and enjoy a large variety of traditional foods. Been here several times and I just remembered they might be on trip advisor😄 Recommend this place 100%

One of two restaurants that an unknown girl, to date, advised me when I arrived in Szeged for the first time! In the first night I went alone and loved the food, the service, the restaurant and its characteristics, with a fantastic atmosphere. Some days later, already with people I met in Szeged, we went out to dinner and they... More

I had not checked out any restaurants in Szeged prior to my visit and while walking from the train station to the hotel walked by this restaurant. Looked pleasing and was crowded - always a good sign. Great waiters, wide selection and very comfortable on the terrace. Asked the waiter what was the house specialty in fish menu and he... More

Very friendly atmosphere, a lots of old stuff covers the wall. It's nice and interesting. The food is excellent and rich, a real hungarian cuisine. The prices absolutely correct, mid range. The stuff is polite and well trained. You should try it, you won't be unsatisfied.
