Euro not accepted

Contrary to the clearly displayed signage, underlined, "we accept euro" this place does NOT accept euro and staff are offhand to the point of churlish when asked! However the beer was great and the lemonade delicious - just make sure you are equipped to settle the bill. 😱

Delicious chicken risotto and good beer. When I entered the restaurant, the first waiter who handed me the menu did not look very friendly. But the one who took my order was polite. Reasonable price.

This is a nice place at the main pedestrian street of Pécs. The quality of food is average and very heavy. Significantly overpriced.

I have been waiting for my food for 1,5 hours...the place is really not full of guests..so if you are hungry lets seek for other place! Update: waiters don't know about common decencies...no card as form of paying (they didn't call my attention before..) different waiters during the nights...no profism! Sucks in the middle of city centre! Food was ok,... More

We stopped by Murphy's to have a drink, sit outside, and enjoy each other's company. It was very nice. The waiter was very attentive. When I did go inside the restaurant, I noticed it was very nice. It is located right next to Szechenyi Square so there were lots of people to watch and activities going on. I didn't eat... More

Hey the beer was good, good ole Guinness. But to warn you, do not ever get the sushi. No matter how good it looks like on the menu. Always trust your gut when you're in an irish pub in the middle of Hungary, with Hungarians who have probably never been trained in making sushi. I can tolerate most things, but... More

The food here was very expensive for Hungry, I don t mind expensive but only if the food is up to standard and that cannot be said of this place. My food was deep fried, then charcoled and for good measure set on fire with Naipalm. My wife ordered grilled Mozzerela and salad which turned out to be a slab... More

I was there to eat and have a beer. The beer was good. The food was too, but since I have a food allergy and asked about the food, and it came with this particular item, I will not visit Murphys Pub anymore for food. Maybe it was a misunderstanding but sometimes this can get dangerous.
