Food is good, but he menu is not easy to be understood specially for a foreigner. although contents of the dishes is written in four languages, but learning contents is not enough to now about the dish, so you have to risk it, but in general it was good, Beer Glasses was so small we had to order four times.

Only an average experience. The best thing was the Zigan music during the dinner. The quality of the food was ok but nothing more. Furthermore I had to ask repeatedly for my second beer.

Looks more like restaurant for masses, tourist busses, groups. Very small tables, relatively slow service, some food comes cold, other is very average. Not a bad place, but no real "experience".

We visited this restaurant as we'd got a money-off voucher from our hotel (cheapskates!). However even without this it would have been worth the walk. There was a band playing traditional songs (which most of the other diners sung along to). The waiter was attentive and spoke good English. The food was delicious. I still salivate at the thought of... More

We went with 2 kids, atmosphere is ok but the food is simply horrible. We had a very mediocre cold fruit soup followed by horrible foie gras (overcooked to death to bring out the smeliness of liver and distgusting texture, what a waste!!) and venison steak (again, couldn't specify how it was cooked and it came broiled to death). I... More

Magyar Csárda provides a good Hungarian night out, especially if there is live music. The food is solidly Hungarian and the menu includes an approximate English version although you may still be wondering what it all means. My "puddled pork" was flattened to a sheet. The menu is extensive although there is not much on offer that is not meaty.... More

This was our first dining experience in Heviz. We had arrived very late the night before and with a combination of jet lag and very long hours traveling, we slept from approximately 2 am (when we arrived) to 4pm! We woke with no idea whether it was even morning or evening and set out to find some food. Too hungry... More
