What a lovely restaurant. Beautiful place, great food, fantastic service, what a real Hungarian restaurant should be. A must visit in Heviz.

First the good parts. Easy to locate and easy to park. Clean, spacious restaurant, good wine list. Stuffed pancakes excellent and goose liver very good. But goose leg was the toughest I've ever had. Neither my husband or I could prise the meat off the bone! Our initial waiter went home (20:30) and another waiter took over. Not a very... More

Steak with lecsó was excellent - although the lecsó could have been just a little bit more piquant. The service was very good and the waiter spoke English. The atmosphere was good, but we were too early for the gipsy music, which might have made it even better.

But the food menu is like every other Hungarian style restaurant. Filled with cliches :) prices are good. If you are a big meat eater you will do fine.

Food is good, but he menu is not easy to be understood specially for a foreigner. although contents of the dishes is written in four languages, but learning contents is not enough to now about the dish, so you have to risk it, but in general it was good, Beer Glasses was so small we had to order four times.

Only an average experience. The best thing was the Zigan music during the dinner. The quality of the food was ok but nothing more. Furthermore I had to ask repeatedly for my second beer.

Looks more like restaurant for masses, tourist busses, groups. Very small tables, relatively slow service, some food comes cold, other is very average. Not a bad place, but no real "experience".
